There is not 1 technique, but there are basic guideline DOES & DONTS, you did not present many DONTS in your technique. Maybe the way the editor constructed it was not mapped right. I own cups for facial cupping and it is amazing! I use some rose hip seed oil before hand and use the different sized cups around face and neck. It does give a beautiful glow.

Is your main objective to move the lymph to drain? If so the lymph nodes sit right under the skin, so using all that pressure and sucking up the skin like that, is not the way to do it. Using low suction is more effective, also don’t forget to open the terminus before you start and close the terminus when you’re done. As far as moving around lymph, you need to follow a specific pattern and route on the lymph nodes to have this treatment be more effective on the client.

Cupping especially on body is very commonly done in Korean medicine (and probs in other Asian medicine too)! Great way to stimulate and stretch some muscles. It’s a nice treatment to have with other rehabs, usually as a sub treatment or massage-like position.

there is so much wrong with white people taking western practices and advertising it as their own, without giving the proper credit. if you seek these type of treatments, it wont take more than 2 minutes just to research and see where the practices are coming from. dont be as ignorant as this lady and just completely disregard the history behind her whole business.

Do not do this. The skin on your face and lips are the thinnest on your body. You could end up with broken blood vessels which create permanent disfigurement. Doctors advised against this when a popular TikTok trend went around basically doing the same thing.
