i love how eddy keeps torturing himself over the most mundane things. he’s a shell of the man he once was and it’s all because of rainforest cafe, morbius, and wii bowling
eddy ninepins is such a mean and hateful name 😕 they should be calling you eddy one hundred and nineteen pins because you’re always one short of a perfect game.
Oh Eddy… my grandma used to play Wii sports every single night til 4am, and every night I would witness my grandma doing perfect games… over and over for hours. Her technique was pretty interesting; she would never move her character, and before throwing the ball, she would "fake it" half a dozen times before throwing. I would try it and sometimes it would work, but for her, it was natural. Then one day, she fell in the tub, broke 3 ribs and never played again 😢 I wish I filmed proof of her play because it was so impressive. She passed away a year and a half ago and I know if she was alive right now, I would have asked her to play Switch Sports with me and I guarantee you that she would keep her perfect score. Miss you grandma. Also Eddy Ninepins, keep practicing
@@ashleyshelley9774 give your grandma all the love and appreciation as you can ❤️❤️ those are the memories and feelings that will stay with you forever 💛
Best I’ve managed IRL is one perfect game followed by one strike. Series was 734 with 189,300,245. 26 of 35 shots were strikes, and according to the app I logged the shots with, I would have snagged a 756 series if all spares had been picked up.
My grandma was a bowler when she was in her 20's. She was damn good at it. At age 80 she was too feeble for that. She hadn't gone bowling in years. We got her a Wii. She was so happy she started a Wii bowling team at her retirement center. Edit: for those who care, she was in a retirement home because she needed the 24/7 care. She was NOT neglected. My mother visited her EVERY SINGLE DAY. She had a better life there than she ever would have had at our house. She has a flourishing social life there. If she stayed with our family she would have been lonely with just us for company because she was an extreme extrovert, and in the later days we wouldn't have been able to care for her due to her medical issues. The stigma around retirement homes is unreal. I understand that there are some people who completely forget about their elders when they're put in a retirement home, but that does not mean EVERYONE in a retirement home was abandoned there. It provides a COMMUNITY. These people often don't have the energy to leave their houses if they lived on their own, so the fact that they live in a community allows them to remain social and active in a way they wouldnt be able to otherwise, as is clearly demonstrated by her creating a bowling team. You really think she could have done that if she lived in our house? No.
I love how fundamentally this video is a man setting himself a goal that he very much fails to achieve and in fact barely bests something he has already done. And yet it is simply incredible. Real eddy 10 pins shit
eddy ninepins face when he realizes he is still livestreaming has me cackling like a gd witch over here! love the vids eddy nine pins, ty for the entertainment!!
Eddy, you and your girlfriend screaming “WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE I AM” at each other will remain the most wholesome thing on RU-vid for generations to come
I like that all of Eddy's videos now are just him doing something to slowly drive himself insane. We're watch a man gradually descend into madness each time he uploads.
Greatest cinematic moments in history: "Nobody thinks it's Eddy Ninepins and I'll prove it to you right here:" *rolls and gets nine pins* 30 seconds later: "Everyone who's calling me Eddy Ninepins, listen to this:" *rolls and gets nine pins*
I remember exactly how I got my wii. I was about eight years old in an arcade with my dad and we both tried to win the wii from the stacker machine. We both got close but I had to leave. But the in the middle of the night my dad woke me up and said he had a surprise. He then showed me the wii that we were trying to get that day. He actually went back and won for me. That was probably the happiest moment in my life.
This video blindsided me in a way I hadn't thought about in years. Back when I was a kid, my late grandfather killed free time every night with wii sports/play. We're talking every single night since the wii came out. One Thanksgiving, he invited us all upstairs claiming he could bowl a perfect game. None of us had ever seen it before, so we all scurried upstairs. He set up from an extreme angle on one side, twisting the remote aggressively as he threw the ball. Ten by ten, every single pin fell, until he finished with a perfect 300. He then followed that up by SWAPPING TO HIS OTHER HAND AND DOING IT AGAIN. It was a Thanksgiving to remember. (also, he had a perfect score in every single Link's Crossbow Training level. RIP to a real madlad)
My dad is notorious for leaving 1 pin behind whenever we bowl. His name is Eddy and I can’t wait to get the rest of the family in on his new nickname 😂
I get this but it’s so important to let creators take breaks. I would hate for him to get burnt out and give up making videos entirely because it’s not fun anymore.
I’ve felt the true nerves of bowling a perfect game, the entire alley was quiet, not a ball rolled down the lane, and everyone was staring. Needless to say I completely messed it up and that game has been haunting me for months
I'm new to Eddy's videos. I've only seen this, the rainforest cafe, and the morbius one. Is this just a common theme? Eddy subjecting himself to torture for the simple fact that he can? Not to gain any knowledge, lessons, or anything like that. Only to prove that he can? Bc Ive decided this is my favorite type of content and I will be rewatching these everyday for the next ten years of my life.
Eddy 9 Pins would be the type of guy to not only wear his rental bowling shoes to the bathroom but to also flush the toilet with aforementioned rental bowling shoes.
I'm not gonna lie Eddy, I really needed this upload; My Dad told me it was impossible to get 2 perfect games and that no one could ever do it. I've spent the last 12 years trying to prove that it's possible but he kicked me out until I could. Thank you Eddy, now I can go home for Thanksgiving and show him this video. It is possible to get two perfect games in a row.
This is the greatest story arc of all time, the way Eddy 9 Pins slowly trained and worked toward his ultimate goal. At the end of the video, he truly became Eddy Strikeback.
Go all the way: a perfect game of perfect games. 12 perfect games in a row. 9 standard “frames” (games) and the special 10th frame where you 3 strikes (games). That’s a real man’s achievement.
You and Chrissy are absolute champions in my book. New subscriber here, I’m definitely going to watch the Rainforest Cafe video next! Much love from Texas! #whodoyouthinkyouareiam
Wii Bowling was the only game where I ever needed that strap on the controller. The instinct to release the ball when I throw it... it is a strong one.
I just really feel that Eddy has found his groove. I’m here for It. The humor is on point, the timing of cuts, I love It. I’m so glad to see you grow as a commentator. I feel many have just now reacted to things or have a subreddit where fans do all the work. Long time subscriber, first time commenter here.
just wanted to say thanks for putting a bar timer for the ad. I ended up sitting through it but it's nice to be able to tell easily where the ad is in the video
I love watching his videos because his videos fit the perfect the classic genre of “Some Content made by Some Guy for the internet.” You cant go wrong with his videos.
I love when you find that one video that was made just for you. One time a systems alarm was going off at work and I found a video from 12 years ago that had 6 views that’s showed me how to check and reset the system
I learnt the perfect hand motion to get a strike where you don't even need to move your arm, just flick your wrist. Saves a lot of energy but kinda takes the fun out of it. Another great video idea, Eddy :)! The cafe one was a banger too though that must have been exhausting!
Ok, I have to mention. I recently discovered Eddy's video about the Rainforest Cafe tour and I thought the toilet intermissions were due to the monkeys. But now there is another video where Eddy talks to toilet decorations. Not sure how to feel about this recurring theme, but so far it's funny, so it gets a past :D
