If you don’t have health, then it seems like you have nothing but if you have your health even if it seems like you have nothing, it feels like you have everything.
Even if you are unwell you still have everything its just a view point an perspective people should appreciate the things they have in their lives like in good health(feeling well) food on the table roof over head clothes on back we have so much to be grateful for and its taken for Granted. The familes you people and smiles you see throughout the day there are people that always have less and that cannot experience these things due to the systems that are in place.
I'd rather have 1 video with a happy, healthy Rapha than 20 with an anxious, unhealthy Rapha who is in pain. Always put yourself first! Your fans will always be here ❤
As a victim of bullying, I learned first hand about the physical pain that is caused by anxiety stress and depression. It's real and it fuels the anxiety. I learned that in order to take care of others I had to first, take care of myself.
Young man, you have your whole life ahead of you. You remind me so much of my grandsons. Take care of yourself and don’t worry about others. Your fans will continue to watch you and wait on you. Stress is a killer and you don’t need to worry so much!
Rapha, guess what?! You ARE a perfect content creator. Not because you’re meticulously posting content, but because you’re REAL. We absolutely love you for who you are, and this is enough! You’re allowed to take as many steps back you need, we’ll always be here when you’re ready to come back. I hope you can understand this and take care of yourself in the first place! Sending much love your way.
beautifully said, he really is the perfect content creator! we need more genuine, wholesome and honest people in this world. some other creators who don''t care to be their best selves for themselves and their fans, should really strive to be more like Raphael
And here in this culprit comment causing his emotional/mental/ physical issues. Stress to please others for likes. You all are killing him and do not seem to know it.
Rapha! There are two books EXACTLY about what you’re talking about that I highly recommend. One is “Healing Back Pain, the mind-body connection”, and the other is “The Body Keeps Score.” These helped me so much as someone with debilitating anxiety and chronic inflammatory illness (RA!) I’ve found solace and comfort in watching your videos during my really hard physical pain times, so thank you SO MUCH for sharing. I started watching you when I was 17 and at the height of pain with my RA and now I’m 22… sending so much healing your way.
Speaking as someone in the US who also has chronic pain, doctors in the US are so quick to diagnose things they don't understand as "anxiety". I was having an allergic reaction in the hospital and it was diagnosed as anxiety. I'm so sorry you went through that. I hope you get better.
This is SOOOO true, and worse they accuse you of pill shopping 🙄😬🤦♀️.. when did America health care go in the shitter..ohhh sackler..nah we were a mess before 💔
@@jilliant.4550 That was what I understood too. They actually gave him the correct diagnosis in the U.S. and he didn't believe them. Doctors continued to tell him the same thing. He just didn't believe them until a scope had been done.
Wow that's so crazy that anxiety can cause something so physical. I mean I knew it can cause physical symptoms... But that!?! Mental health seriously needs better recognition!
Def. Someone I know had a burnout, basically overstressed and overworked for way too long, and at one point his body reacted to the amount of stress that had built up. He literally couldn't move his legs anymore; temporary paralysis. Stress can do the craziest things.
Not at all unusual. There's a nerve, the vagus nerve, that goes straight from your brain to your upper digestive tract (esophagus, stomach etc). Mental stress causes that nerve to trigger increased acid production in the stomach which is painful as it burns the stomach and possibly the esophageal lining. Stress was infamously seen as the cause of ulcers years ago although we've more recently learned it's more complex than that (there's a bacteria, Helicobacter pylori involved also and so on). But these days we have medications that can directly interrupt the production of excess stomach acid. I wonder if he was ever given any of those--I would be surprised if not.
@@BTinSF I'm more surprised that he was in such pain with no diagnosis for months and his doctors still choose not to do an endoscopy. Like what are you going to lose if you explore his digestive tract?
I have anxiety so bad it causes frequent bad panic attacks and I am showing sign of heart problems and damage for how often the panic attacks cause my heart rate and blood pressure to sky rocket
Yes!! i have bad anxiety but my depression is worse. in 2020 i got extremely sick, constantly leaving school going to the dr lots of tests but all coming back normal. here it was my depression that was making me so sick
If anyone is upset with you because you're taking care of your health than they aren't true supporters ... real supporters would want you to put your health first and foremost. I'm so glad that you're feeling better. Stay strong lovey 🩷💜🩵
I hope you find peace and happiness in all that you do . That’s what that matters in life. We’re here for you . We love you and all we want is for you to be happy. ❤❤❤❤❤
Hey Raphael, I've been watching your videos for a long time and I relate very much to what you've been experiencing. I also put so much pressure on myself and the stress from being a youtuber is something that really gets to one over time. Thanks for always making great videos and being there for your community. Get all the rest you need, keeping you in my prayers bro 👑
I'm so sorry this is happening to you. How scary! Chronic stress really is a killer-I went through a period of prolonged extreme stress and I ended up having a heart attack. I'm glad you're taking care of yourself! I've really enjoyed watching your videos, but please take care of yourself.
Please feel better! Sadly the American medical system is this way. You have to hope to find the right ones. I’ve been through medical issues & surgeries & I’m so greatful I picked the right ones. ❤️
This is why I was so shocked when he said he wanted to move here, he's going to suffer, and this countries medical system is going to make it worse... I'm surprised he's back in the US, after all of that I would go right back to Europe and stay there.
Not always true. But it makes me laugh that Americans have to be negative about anything if it’s in America and one person who’s not American might had a bad experience from something or someone. Then I see comments from Americans bashing and hating on their own country, making excuses, agreeing when the American person hasn’t met all the doctors and a lot of the doctors are not American! I had a couple different doctors I once had, were from India. And also, the doctors have to go by company rules and regulations. I’ve been lucky to have the right doctor for several years. If I need to see a specialist, he sends me to the right doctor. It’s like Americans have to apologize to people from other countries as if their own country is perfect, not one bit. Lol
I'm sorry you've had to go through that! That sounds so rough, being in so much pain, but also not being able to get help and no knowing what's wrong. I hope you keep getting better and better and that you can let go of some of the pressure and anxiety. We love you and want the best for you! As much as I love your content, the most important thing is that you're feeling good about what you're doing.
I had this exact thing happen to me! Bad tummy issues, I lost soooo much weight. I thought I was dying. They did so many tests, blood work, CT scans etc. In the end it was stress and bad anxiety manifesting. I went into counseling, started meditating every day and did have to go on Zoloft to get it completely under control. It took a couple years to stabilize and heal. I'm so sorry this has happened to you! Please keep putting yourself first, you will heal, you will feel normal again, it just takes time. It's a slow process, be patient and loving with yourself. We all look forward to a happy and healthy you, no matter how long it takes. ❤
your health always comes first. if you picture yourself as a jug of water, you can only fill others glasses if you yourself is full first. I had gastroenteritis last year and it triggered my health anxiety. I went on a health journey and after so many tests, being told my stomach now looks normal after so many months... life will always throw things your way. we just want you happy and healthy. we appreciate this video and your realness. you don't have to always do too much. Just simplicity is fine. Just focus on your health always. set aside a time off for yourself in between work so you have time to decompress from any stress that's built up. take care. we are your subscribers, sure, but more importantly we are your supporters. so we support you through this and we're glad you're at 80% recovered. sending you strength for the rest of it but recovering is not linear and we all have our own pace. you'll get there. you've got this! ❤
@@JimboJones99 no......he is eating all kinds of shi* that typical Americans eat. Everything contains canola oils, soybean oils, sugars, carbs = crap. Everything due to nutrition.
everything. everything you said is so accurate. I am so sorry this happened to you. I hate that you had to go through this but it’s so validating to hear someone else have an experience similar to mine. thank you for being so brave and using your platform to speak about this!! it makes us feel so much less alone. I’m so glad you are feeling better and prioritizing your health!
I am so sorry you've been going through all this. Absolutely 100% your health and wellbeing comes first. I missed your uploads but I'm glad you allowed yourself to put your health first. I hope you feel better soon 💜💜
Esophagus is the word you were looking for. I live with bad anxiety and in me it induces high blood pressure. I am glad you made this video and hope you continue to get better.
I feel your pain. Literally the same for the past 2 years. Triggered by a stressful event in my life. it does get better i promise. You really do have to prioritise you and your health. Without it, we have nothing. Sending you so much love xxx
I have this exact same thing right now. The pain is unbearable, but also, the anxiety is unbearable to the point I am housebound. I hope you feel so much better soon. You really deserve it ❤
Oh, Raphy. As somebody who deals with chronic gastritis since years, I totally am able to relate, though luckily it never incapacitated me for longer than 2 weeks at a time and never with soo much pain. Even as you started telling your doctor journey, I thought hopefully come to Europe. I am German and we are so spoiled with our health system here compared to so many other countries in the world. Remember, you are only human, take care of yourself, spoil yourself, take your time to unwind and relax. There is no need to stress yourself into burn outs. I am pretty sure that most if not all your followers agree, that you only need to do what you are able to do. We will be happy with everything you could throw at us, even if it is just a 2 min unedited lifesign, when you just talk about whatever comes to your mind. There is no need to script and film to perfection, as we know is what your mind is telling you to do. Take it easy! Your wellbeing comes first. We love you and wish you to get well soon. Snuggle up with Salem and rest. We see you when we see you. Stay safe.
I'm glad you are finding ways to give yourself grace. Anxiety is no joke. Chronic pain is no joke. Take care of yourself the best you can, especially if there are answers to help. Love to Salem! (And to you)
Raphael, we love you! Please only post when it is best for you. We care about your health!!!! Sending giant hugs!!!!! So sorry for all of the pain you endured.
A little over a year ago my health went down hill and anxiety took over my life. I have always been an anxious person but I never knew how dark anxiety could get. I’m currently on a a healing journey myself and I can only imagine the challenges you may be going through. Your health comes first no matter what!
Omg 😢 I truly hope you get better, and please take all the time you need to heal. I have experienced really bad ezcema simply because of my stress levels it's horrible, but with time and a lot of patience you can heal, sending you all the positive vibes in the world ❤❤
oh wow i’ve been experiencing stomach related issues at the same time as you actually, and i just had an emergency surgery last month. it was so sudden. one day i was fine, the next i was in the ER, so i get it. it’s honestly terrifying when you don’t know what’s wrong with you. and my issues were also caused by stress. when you’re a perfectionist and a people pleaser with anxiety, stress is very difficult to control. please take all the time you need, but also understand that we’ll watch anything you post. quite literally. it doesn’t have to be perfect, it doesn’t have to be innovative. just whatever it is you want to film that day, we’ll gladly watch it! i wish you all the best raphael. please take care of yourself, your physical and your mental health. the rest can wait.
I am halfway in the video and I am so sorry that they made u feel so invalidated. It is so hard to feel that something is wrong and people dismiss your pain :(, I will update this comment once I finish the video. Edit: Omg am sorry u have been going through all of that. Mental health is as much as important as physical health, and sometimes anxiety or other disorders can lead to physical problems. I send you a hug and I hope u will be able to recover completely and feel better soon
haven't watched the video yet but oh god i really wish you are okay edit: glad you're better now, you're perfect just the way you are and i'm not just saying that... you really are and that's why we love you take as much break as you need and want we will always be here waiting for your videos ❤️
I'm so incredibly sorry for everything that you've been going through hon. I hope you make a full recovery soon! And no one is gonna be mad or feeling some kinda way about you taking whatever time you need. We'll be here when you come back. So do what you gotta do. 💖
Praying for healing for you. Have them check you for pancreatitis. Keep us posted Ralph. You're gonna be okay and we support and love you! ❤ Always take care of YOU first. We'll be here, you need your health.
I’m so glad you’ve taken this time for yourself. I’ve been watching your videos for years now and though I do love them, I love this self care journey even more . As a single mom w/ anxiety that’s become more pronounced now I related a lot with this. I hope that you’re able to heal and feel fully back yourself very soon 🩷 but in the meantime I’d say no rush on the videos.
I'm so glad you have answers. Just an FYI, the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is hard core amazing on finding and diagnosing health issues along with treating. Your health is priority over all. We will all be here for you no matter how long you need. You do you friend and everything else will fall into place.
@@JimboJones99 the covid vaccine has caused so many less issues than covid itself. Issues with long covid, POTS, FND, and many more have occurred due to having covid. The vaccine has prevented so many deaths and so many cases of these secondary conditions. Stop fear mongering and spreading false antivax info
I am so sad that this happened/happens to you, I feel like you are the nicest person who always wants to put smiles on other peoples faces. I hope you get better soon, but PLEASE take your time ❤
I love you so much and if you need a break and time to yourself you should do that. Take all the time you need to get better. I hope you get better and find yourself ❤ I will keep you in my prayers ❤🙏
I missed you so much! I hope you get better or find the balance you need. I just honestly like watching you just do the things that make you happy even if it is just so minimal or could possibly be boring if it was anyone else doing it, you make it your own from just who you are as a person, and I love it. You are highly entertaining by just being alive, so thankyou. The pressure is real when it comes to creating new content probably unlike any other stress there can be. And your health should be the most important over everything at the end of the day that's what matters.
There is a serious problem in this country; I have similar issues (and yes, been to many doctors and got no answers), I know family members with similar issues too. You hear about it these unnamed inflammation and autoimmune issues constantly now. There’s something really wrong with our food, lifestyle, and health system 🤔
Love you Rapha! I'm glad you stood your ground and kept visiting the Dr until you found someone to help! I hope things continue to get better for you! 💞✨️💞✨️
Im in Germany and ive been sick for 1 year, it started with a pain behind my back and led to my whole body feeling very weak and so much pain, i ve been going to doctors yet they just discovered i have autoimmune disease, but before that most of times felt very neglected as sometimes they didnt even check me at all , or they sent me home and i ended up with a severe depression, in mental hospital,im still looking what's going on because they still didn't find yet exactly what it is. So sadly i really understand you and sometimes i really wish i could afford to go home and get checked literally. I think over 1 year i was all right 1 month and half, and most of time i was jobless because I couldn't function.
Similar thing happened to me. A therapist I was sent to actually called my insurance company and told them "this person is not depressed, they have an autoimmune disease." Everything is summed up as depression.
I have watched you longer than I can remember. I really enjoy your videos and hope you continue to feel better. I have extreme anxiety sometimes too. Wish you the best and love your videos ❤
Nobody addressing the elephant in the room…again…. Young people ‘suddenly’ get sick (or die) and doctors know nothing all of the sudden and just call it stress Hmmmm, I wonder why… Hope you’ll feel better soon 😘
I am so sorry you have been going through this, but so proud that you have taken care of yourself and have a much better perspective on things now. Blessings as you navigate this new reality! We'll wait!
Raphael you never disappoint us! You just have to be yourself and post things you enjoy filming! When u r having fun, we r having fun too!! We don't care about any other thing!!! I hope you read this! Love you! Get well soon! ❤
You have been and continue to be a gem. Your passion for what you do is very evident in your content, and quite inspiring. Be well and prioritize your health. Thank you! ❤
Hey Ralph, thanks for sharing your story and struggles . I hope talking about it helps and you could possibly help others too. Sounds horrible and must be so scary to go through . Please Try to Take it easy try one day at a time.
Hi Raphael. I'm sorry you're going through so much with your health. Reflux and stomach pain can be hard. You might ask your doctors about Gaviscon Double Action. It's not available in the United States. You have to order it online. But sometimes it helps people with these symptoms. I go to a special clinic at a teaching hospital for digestive disorders, and they recommended it to me. They said it helps a lot of people. Another one they said often helps is called Reflux Gourmet. It's another one that must be bought online. Both medications are not prescription medicines. They are specialized antacids that you could buy in a pharmacy if they were available, but they work in different ways than the antacid pills and medications which are commonly available. For some people, they work really well. One way or another, I hope you feel much better soon.
Gaviscon is only to help with symptoms but not target the actual issue. But at least it’s better than taking those pills the gastroenterology department likes to give everyone
A relative of mine has bad reflux so I looked it up from the US. Both products are available on Amazon! I’m gonna get some for them to try. Thanks for the info! 😁
And a dietitian can give advice on food/drinking habits, which will not fix the problem but it’s always good to find ways to be gentle with the body food wise.
I'm so proud to be a fan right now! I overexerted in my last three jobs and lost myself in the process, but coming to terms with that is one of the most difficult things to do! I hope you can find the right balance for you and your business!
I’m not sure how much this will mean but I’ve been watching you for over 10 years now I’m so proud that you are prioritizing your mental health and that you are understanding that you are the most important thing in your own life. All of your fans will be waiting for you whenever you come back and on the days you don’t feel up to it we will support you through it. ❤
