I Ordered Every Taylor Swift Era As a Custom Cake 

No kidding. Incredibly disappointing that the baker messed up terribly with construction and design. The first two cakes looked incredibly dry, while the 13 cake looks too moist, not fully cooked. I hope they didn’t charge Raphael too much as it seems this was just a baker-in-training and didn’t care about the details

​@@robynspelts5688 it looked like they put more effort into the flavours than the designs. I know they were following his drawings but some of them clearly showed stuff in the behind. Like the butterflies, the new York landscape, glitter drips, stars etc. I honestly can not understand how someone just decided to leave the back blank. Unless they asked him and he didn't respond or something I dunno it's weird.

@@nehamaw very disappointed in the Folklore cake…four decorations around the circumference of the cake. They could have maybe continued the stars all the way around, at the very least. I’m glad Raphael is happy with the cakes, but I certainly would demand a refund

He designed the cakes, drew the pictures The bakers made the cakes to his specifications Did you see his drawings? Bakery made what he asked for . They weren't given free reign to do their own design.

Cakes can be so many other shapes. The purple dress one he could have made so it looked like TS wearing the ball gown and the cake was the poofy skirt. They make cake pans shaped like princess dresses. Rectangular sheet cake would provide a large surface area for artwork, like a willow tree over a cabin. Or a stage of her in concert. They could make a cake shaped like a grand piano 🎹 or a guitar, or a giant cowboy hat All the cakes were tall cylinders because that's what he limited the baker to. I'm disappointed in his lack of creativity. A good cake decorator could recreate the artwork from an album cover, make a portrait of Taylor, combine different shapes. A cake shaped like a cabin, or a cardigan. Only having round cakes really tied the bakers hands as far as decorations go. Because the decorations had to be vertical and stuck to the sides of the cake, when the top could hold more weight. Wedding cakes have tiers, that could have been done here. You could have a sheet cake in the bottom, and a round tier above that Next time he should give them an image of the album, an idea of what he wants but let them pick the best way to represent that. Cake decorators want their cakes to look good from all angles The cakes looked like his drawings and were the flavors he picked
