Pixel is still clear though....>>>>>>>>> The Samsung S23 is very good but I feel the Pixel 7 edges it a little. I use a Pixel and my only main issue is the charging speed, bar that, the phone overtime gets used to you. Google really did a job on the pixel 7. Weldone KJOS
I traded my old Samsung for a pixel 7 and after having problems with the screen turning green, doing random restarts and 2 replacements I'm running back to Samsung 😂. Just ordered my s23
Pixel 7 Pro vs standard S23 would be a great comparison with both being on sale for $699 price point today. Would you still take a S23? Aug2023 edit* bought the pixel 7 pro during the Amazon prime day sale and it's been great. The bigger size takes a little getting used to, fitting in your pockets and changing your grip on the phone but ultimately worth it over the bloatware samsung.
I don’t think price should be the comparison factor, it should be screen size imo. If someone wants a smaller screen, the better value is not going to convince them to buy the bigger phone
@@paulhmus no it isnt..its good..but it aint better..please..galaxy is better in cameras and updates..better build..the zenfone is nice..but it doesnt beat the s23..like bro..
The Pixel 7 has been the best Android phones I've ever used. Stock Android is the way to go. Plus all of the Pixels extra exclusive stuff "call screening" is to good to walk away from. Yeah the finger print reader needs to get better. And hopefully with the G3 processor gets better on battery life. I still get good battery life with the 7 and we cant forget about those camera no matter what i put them through they just put out amazing photos no matter what. Team Pixel for life!
Absolutely, I actually sold my Pixel 7 and switched to a Samsung S22 Ultra which I found on a deal. Regardless to say. I am now back on my Pixel 7, sold the Samsung and couldn't be happier. I am eagerly awaiting the Pixel 8 announcements from Google and if they improve both battery and give us a 120hz panel, then I am sold.
Galaxy's aggressive app archiving has messed up so many of my apps by forcibly signing me out, making me miss important notifications and accessing information from places like my bank. And you cannot turn this off. No more Samsung phones for me.
Samsung has astronomically better hardware. Try running Genshin on a Pixel 7 Pro and watch your hand turn into a mini heater as you have 30 fps Meanwhile an S23 is pulling 60 fps while being nice and cool 😎
But makes awful pictures. I made pictures with the S23 and they are really blurry. The hardware is better, but what use is that to you under the circumstances?
Samsung has better display ,and is 6,1 Google pixel has stock android , better software experience. Cameras little better Google pixel Snapdragon little better than Gtensor 3 The decision is yours
Very nice comparison… it has helped me decide on what i want to buy next. I would request you to please compare s23 and S23ultra too and whether is it worth going for that upgrade or S23 will still be better if one doesn’t want too big n bulky of a phone. Coz more than the price its the big size of iphone pro max and s23 ultra and the likes, thats bit of a turn off for me… ❤
dude i just saw ur channel and thank god i did . I was thinking about buying s22 or 23 (like 22 design better) and i was concerned about BATTERY .Ur videos made up my mind I m going for s 23 thank u. (and with device changing program price goes way down.)
@@hagenbartels6677not at all dude , its subjective , from hardware and processing perspective pixel is barely better, i genuinely prefer the brighter photos of s22/23.
If you're a stock Android lover, youll always go for pixel or sony.. and yup its called pixel experience because it improves over time while you use the phone, thats how its AI works, getting screen on time above 9 hours, at this big display in full hd resolution, + google always keep updating its camera quality, look at pixel 4 still an awesome phone .
@@artsykilla if you own the phone keep using it, it'll improve over time, my 7pro battery has shown improvement day by day.. because that's how pixel experience works, learning your pattern and saving battery..
We should really leave the "pixel experience"/stock android point out when deciding which is better, for the people in the comments... as both a samsung and pixel user, it makes absolutely no difference in the performance (or at least not noticeable by human eye lol), this is just personal preference, samsung has much, much more native tools and aesthetically it looks more cohesive. Stock looks clean but for some people it might be too underwhelming or choppy. Just do you.
@@kingini-fv5xj i agree with your point 4,8,9 and all other are negligible for a normal user who don't want to spend extra dollars and pixel is never competing with flagship mobiles infact it actually giving all flagship experience using its own software and hardware.
If Google Pixels had better processors I’d consider them but for now I’ll stick with the S23 because I love to game I’d rather get an iPhone than Google Pixel rn
You are correct. Nothing beats the pixel experience. This regular s23 is cool. But it's nothing compared to my Pixel 3a, 4a and 5. My P5 was bricked because of Android beta 13 which is totally my fault. Needed an actual phone sized phone and not a tablet (fablet which seems to be the norm now) and went with the regular s23. It reboots during the day sometimes 3 times and sometimes not at all. Music production and singing is my career mixed with DJing and being a karaoke host and not having access to now playing is something you would never know you need until you don't have it anymore. Call assistant, call screening, the voice typing, the huge always on display clock which acts as a notification led because if it's not the full sized clock, you will automatically know that you have notifications. You can "good lock" a Samsung phone until you're blue in the face and it will still never compare to a pixel phone and PDA (personal data assistant) ability. The s23 is also very slippery and feels delicate. It is smaller which is a plus. And the screen is bright and beautiful. That is the only advantage it has over the pixels mentioned. My bad for the long comment everyone lol. And here's to hoping the P8 with its rumored 6.1 inch screen will be as small as the galaxy s23 or P5.
I'm thinking about going from s22 exynos to Pixel 7 or Pixel 7 pro, you think is it worth a hassle to sell s22 and buy Pixel, installing all the app and so on ? I would like better battery life..
@@baryton76not at all bro , haptics , speakers, display are worse on pixel , and the thermal performance is also worse from the already bad s22 , just the battery life is better and performance is fine aswell
@@SANI50o I moved like a weak ago. I'm in Italy right now, temperatures 37 degrees and I can't say a bad work about how Pixel 7 works in high temperatures. Pixel is faster than on s22 although s22 was not slow at all. Camera is just on another level for me. Speakers are worse, screen a tad better on Samsung but it is not crucial for me. Battery is much better than on s22 but my Samsung was after one year of battery abuse so or could be not fair comparison. Overall for me Pixel 7 is better phone than Samsung s22 and s23 mainly because of how tuned is the camera. And haptics are much better on pixel.
@baryton76 the s23 literally has s pro mode and ots portrait mode blows the pixels out of the water. Thr front facing camera and video on both cameras are inferior to the s23 line up and it csnt.even compete I'm battery life. Not to try and talk down on your purchase but some of the stuff you guys say about the pixel vs samsung is misleading
Samsung is never sturdy, i had 2 Samsung phones before and the panel always breaks easily and repair is soooooo expensive. And talking about price Samsung is more expensive than Pixel phones
The S23 is AU$1449 in Australia, meanwhile I just bought a Pixel 7 for AU$469. Hopefully it will last until 2027 when phones with replaceable batteries are the norm.
I had the pixel 3A, 5A 5G, 6 pro and recently got a 7 for only 300$.. Trust me that all the old pixel work just fine and smooth. When I got the 6 pro it had some little bugs, nothing serious but annoying, and after a few months it was ( and still is ) a very clean and sharp device. For me pixels are the best ❤ Also i've tried to give a shot to samsung, oneplus and Apple, i have to say that apple would be the only one that i would switch too. Same smooth experience & great cameras.
I agree! Pixels have been the best Android phones I've ever used. I'm used Galaxy, OnePlus, LG but nothing has been as reliable as my pixel has been. If I ever switched it would be over to the iPhone. Stock Android is the way to go. If OnePlus just came out with a better stock camera then maybe I would go to the OnePlus but that front facing camera is just absolutely horrible.
I buy my wife a iPhone 14pro Max as a Gift, so i thake the iPhone 12 Pro Max after 2 Days i Switch Back to the Pixel 6Pro and all my NeXT Phones i Will Chose pixel
My man, amazing comparison, clean, nonbiased and clear. Personally I game on steamdeck, consoles etc. phone i use to take pictures and have easy and quick access to amazing tools google offers with no hassle. Just bought the pixel 7, switched from s21+ Well done my friend, stay safe
S23 have very unquality oversaturated cameras,as usually. So why would I change my mind? Best cameras are in iphone and Sony. And you can talk whatever you want that's true.
Pixel have qualities but people are doing too much. Ok for Cameras but everything else is overated. If Google AI Features were really THE thing, people would buy Pixel instead iPhone or Galaxy. AI features are nice to have but S23 is the way.🥇
@@D1sconnect try running Genshin on a Pixel 7 Pro, and watch the phone barely pull 30 fps while turning into a mini heater And then run Genshin on the S23 and watch it easily pull a consistent 60 fps while staying cool to the touch The processor on the S23 is ASTRONOMICALLY faster than the Pixel 7 Pros
@@thomasbiers5673 yeah right who plays genshin on the phone all the time what are you 13? Have you ever trained ML on a Samsung? That's what I thought... Pixel is on another level for the things it was designed to do. And for real stop comparing different generations of SoCs. Compare it with the Pixel 8, On ARM v9
Today I've read that update to android 14 repaired heating issues a bit plut SOT of screen is longer now, so buying p7 now is more attractive (if one can't affort p8 ;)
Pixel 6 pro - fun to use, you'll enjoy it, but wouldn't last long due to aged chipset S23 - a boring but an almost perfect phone that'll never make you feel you're missing something & will last another 3 years at least S21 ultra - very useful as a brick to bust open someone's head👍
Considering the two phones, I found that using the Pixel 7 in the long term just wasn't worth it for me. In terms of security/software updates S23 heavily outweighs the Pixel 7 and the camera saturation can be easily resolved trough pro settings on the s23. Furthermore, I've come to realize that the Pixel 7 utilizes less expensive components for their phone, resulting in deteriorated speaker quality, stuttering performance with a gradual change over time. Additionally, the fingerprint scanner takes more than a second to register too. While this justifies its price, when it comes to a premium feel and overall experience, Samsung holds the upper hand.
I'm a pixel 7 user , PIXEL 7 DISPLAY IS SHIT (especially red colors are off and green yellow tint faded display ) AND WIDE ANGLE CAMERA NOT WIDE ENOUGH AND DOESNT EVEN HAVE AUTO FOCUS , worst finger print sensor, Front camera bad at night especially video calls look worst
@@CallMeKJOShe does use a pixel, I use an s23 now after using a Pixel and iPhone 13. He's not lying. See your video (3:12) the fingerprint failed to unlock. Pixel are know for having really awful cameras while doing anything relating to videos, in video calls, social media apps and even native camera recording.
You re just a pixel fanboy U did say anything more exciting about s23 Even video recording... And so As a content creator ND reviewer Try to be neutral
a phone making you look orange because you're black isn't "subjective" it's bad. A phone doing his job and guessing your ethnicity right so it can adjust the picture to be more faithful to your true skin tone is good not "subjective". Stop using "subjective" if you don't know what it means.
Pixel is a good camera. That is it. Not good for internet since it has cheap modems. Not made for texting because you will miss your messages due to a poor modem and connection. Giant turd of a phone is what google pixels are.
@@CallMeKJOS well others do acknowledge the samsun modem being inferior to the qualcom and having connection issues..not major from what i understand..but it hangs around..what do you expect when one is fabbed at samsung and the other tsmc
The Tensor G2 is a Snapdragon 865? Where did you get that from? I thought is was a specialized version of an Exynos chip. Therefore the heat, stutters within Twitter and others...
No , android 13 and one ui 5 has been really good, i prefer it over pixel just for the features although the animations and standby is a bit better on pixel
The camera of all the recent base S series have been bland and boring. They were the best and coolest up till S20. Heck S20 series had a fuc*ing 3D ToF sensor. It was like Apple's LiDar sensor. Now Pixel series has ToF sensor with Laser AF capabilities. Pixel camera is the best and hottest in Android segment now.
Pixel is the worst phone made next to lg . Pixel 6 was sent out with defective modems. Defective screens. Terrible size. No thanks . Pixel 6 ruined pixel .
