Nah but Darcy was allowed to be upset. Yeah Darcy didn’t really love Dex, but that was her best friend sleeping with the guy she was gonna married. Darcy’s heartbreak wasn’t the boy, it was that her friend really didn’t fucking care for her as much as she thought. Darcy was an awful person lowkey, but she wasn’t on the wrong for being upset over that. At all.

Unfortunately, this is probably the most realistic movie. Bad behavior being rewarded.

The only person i liked in this movie was John Krasinski’s character. Everyone else SUCKS 😭😭

I think this movie shows why most childhood friendships don’t really hold on to adulthood. Is because childhood friends can become toxic. Darcy and Rachel’s friendship made Rachel insecure, and Darcy knew that she could manipulate Rachel into believing or doing anything she wanted. Nonetheless Rachel knew she did a terrible thing and apologize to Darcy when she had the chance, but Darcy never admitted that she was wrong for cheating on her fiancé and getting pregnant of another guy. Darcy and Rachel’s friendship was fun and cute but toxic nonetheless, so it needed to end.

John Krasinski’s character was the only likeable person in the film. I won't defend Rachel but Darcy being so furious when she was pregnant with another man's child...all I could think was, girl, please, you don't have a leg to stand on here. And you are right - if he or she cheats with you they will cheat on you.

dex looks like the love child of tom cruise and Peter facinelli (aka Carlisle from twilight) lol

In the spin off book Darcy ends up with Ethan. I was surprised how much I actually enjoyed their relationship in 'Something Blue' but in the movies I was for Rachel ending up with Ethan. I never liked Dex. How could he date and plan to marry Darcy if he was in love with Rachel? Why keep it in the circle? That wasn't fair to Darcy, even if she was kind of a bitch.

So this is actually based on a book and a series of books. They were suppose to do more movies but it never happened. You see redemption for the other characters. I wanted to love this movie more than I do and after I saw it in the theater i was obsessed with the actor who played Dex. Then I find out he’s my friends cousin. He’s a really great guy.

Rachel's the worst type of friend a snake in disguise the type of friend that acts innocent and you would never expect the worse from. The fact that she kept sleeping with Dex but pretended to feel guilty tells you everything about the type of person she is. Darcy was a self centred terrible person too but she didn't deserve that kind of betrayal from her best friend. The ending of this movie made me mad but as the saying goes you lose em how you got em😉😂

For the “lose em how you got em” its true enough. Theres a whole lot of insecurities that are built into a relationship when you get together like that. Theres no doubt that the partner or yourself is capable of that kind of mess. 😂 I loved it when it came out but its been years since i watched. Idk how i feel about it after all that time haha. Taste has changed 💃🏻

I was watching this movie with my friends and I felt like I was the only one that was just as mad as Billy. Like this was preventable and you're trying to paint the best friend, Darcy, as somebody who deserves to be played by her friend and her fiancee. When in actuality she was just a victim. I hated this movie and my friends were like oh it's so good. Thank you Billy for voicing your unpopular opinion because I really agree with you.

If someone is in a relationship and cheating they're the problem, but if someone is aware they're engaging in funtime activities with someone they know is in a relationship they also absolutely the problem.

There is a book and honestly, Darcy had been a snake all their friendship. Had told Rachel Ethan liked Darcy when they were younger when he liked Rachel and she could have facilitated that. Was always putting herself above Rachel. Just look at the birthday video where she made it all about her instead of Rachel. Darcy also knew that Rachel liked Dex when she met up with them and called her out knowing her shy personality wouldn't allow her to speak on her feelings. She also has no room to talk when she was cheating on Dex that entire summer and (in the book) got pregnant on purpose by the other guy who was a good friend of Dex's, also thinking that her so-called best friend had feelings for that guy. She wanted what Rachel had and didn't want to boost her up and bring her out of her shell she wanted a friend she could walk all over and after a lifetime of that Rachel "fought" back. Honestly it isn't a surprise Rachel and Dex do end up staying together even in the sequel You also missed the after credits where Darcy showed up to see Ethan heavily pregnant leading to the book sequel and would be movie sequel "Something Blue"

As a kid (yes I’ve loved this book and movie since I was in grade 5.. so 10 years old ) I was obsessed with the book. I actually still have it to this day. And anytime it came in tv I’d watch it with my mom (censoring out certain parts) but I don’t think I’ve ever watched it as a “adult” like I think the last time I’ve watched was 4 years ago. (Was 16)
