The ordinary cars are why I keep coming back - Lambos and Ferraris do absolutely nothing for me. They're ok once in a while, but too many exotics become boring.

I love seeing old cars like the Buick, Tempo and Fox body Mustang on your channel. In the UK they are very rare sights indeed, and as a consequence I consider them to be fairly exotic.

Thank, and MERRY CHRISTMAS! Another tip to preserve your straps, and ratchet mechanisms, is to store them in ammunition boxes, throw a couple of those little celica packets that you normally get in various shipped things like furniture, or parts. This will keep the sealed ammo cans dry, preventing, or helping to prevent dry rot, and will extend the life, as well as the performance of your straps. GOD BLESS YOU ALL, and again MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Randy... I use to haul cars for a living we always used axle straps and criss crossed the front and back!! The axle straps came with a sleeve protector on the strap to keep it from being cut and fraying!! You can also buy regular ratchet strap sleeve protectors through US Cargo Control that just slide on to your current straps!! Hope this helps

Can’t beat those old 3800 engines. You did very well on that one. The Mustang is going to make some great content a lot of people are restoring those and many will need to learn how to line up the panels and the Cracker Jack rattling doors. Get that engine stroked and super charge it. Everyone loves the body style. Take care.

One of the most important detailing specifics for maximizing resale, is the engine bay. That one looks really good, and detailing it could make it look almost brand new! The cars that spin my crank are from the late 60s and early 70s. So in 71, I was 10, so that was roughly when I started noticing cars. For different reasons, I wasn't into cars in my mid teens, so I didn't pick up on them then(maybe a good thing because by the mid 70s, the oil crisis was in full swing).

My dad had a '92 Regal GS, that thing was amazing. in 10 years he did over 500,000km (310k+ miles), and the only repair under the hood was one alternator, one water pump and one starter. The transmission never needed servicing. Unfortunately it was too rusted to do anything else with, both the body and the subframes.

I do not know about straps but my brother who drags race uses straps to wrap around the rear end and then used chains to hook into the loops on the straps and connect to the trailer. He also uses chains for connecting the front end also. The chain straps do have a handle to lock them tight. But if you do not want to use chains you might see what U-Hauls or Rider uses, those seem to hold up good. I love American cars and Japanese cars, you can keep those over price European PoS off the show. :) Well VWs are ok. lol
