I can’t tell you how much Ian and I think alike. I compete as a natural, and even today at 59 my favorite place to train is in my old school one-car garage home gym, complete with vintage posters from Pumping Iron, and Arnold’s calendar (from 1982!), and Rocky on the concrete wall. I bought Old But Strong and Full Circle, and love them both. I remember what it was like as a teenager when I first lifted my first weights in my basement or friend’s garage, waiting for the monthly bodybuilding magazines to come out. And to this day, 43 years later, the same things that motivated me then, motivate me now. There ain’t nothing silly about going back to the old days and working them into current day; workouts, music, workout clothes, whatever

Thank you Kenny for this video with Ian Duckett. I’m 67 and have worked out for over 50 years and I have to agree with Ian that I can’t workout heavy anymore. The three days a week working each body part once a week works for me also. Thanks again for this video and your great channel.

Excellent ethos going back to feeling about training like he was a kid. I’m 52 & have been doing similar recently & really enjoying my training. 3 days a week weights, 3 days Judo which I took up at 50. Even got my teen heavy metal on when I’m lifting 💪🏻

Great episode! I am 52 competed only twice and that was 18 years ago. Now for some stupid reason I want to complete one more time.
