Idea Tango - Argentine tango technique
Having a good balance is of paramount importance both in and outside tango.
In the everyday life a good balance prevents us from falls and injuries. In all sports, both the static and dynamic balance play a key role and in tango it allows us to move with control, lightness and presence whilst maintaining an extraordinary connection to our partner.
In this video you are going to execute 8 exercises of increasing difficult that will
- strengthen your ankles
- strengthen your legs
- allow you to find the body alignment needed for a good balance
- allow you to boost your overall balance
Execute the exercises regularly at least 3 times a week to feel stronger, more stable and more in control of your own balance.

That’s exactly what I needed! Love your exercises. I’ve learnt how to do a giro but I have balance problem and my teacher told me to work on my axis and coming back to the centre in fast movements. Thanks again 😊

Hola Eliana, muchas gracias por tu comentario! 🙏🏻🥰 Sabías que puedes mover los subtítulos a cualquier parte de la pantalla? Por ejemplo, puedes moverlos por encima de mi cabeza para que puedas ver bien mis pies. Simplemente mueva el cursor del mouse sobre los subtítulos, haga clic y mantenga presionado, mueva el mouse hacia donde desea que estén los subtítulos y luego suelte el botón del mouse. 😉

What does lentent or lentents mean? e.g. "lentents towards the ceiling."

It should be lengthen and not lentent. Meaning that you are supposed to elongate your body by means of muscles

Hi there, thank you for your comment. You can move the subtitle anywhere on your screen. Just grab them with your mouse and drop them where they do not bother, for example on my head.
