I like how even though you mixed the versions, the lyrics are still matches one another like, they still connected

This is such a mind fuck, you put the lyrics together so they make sense even with the switch.

The fact that they can make an English cover so close to the native one means that a remix like this is SCARILY seamless, so cool

This is literally how my mind processes these songs

it’s so impressive that even when translated into english, not only did they keep the meaning of the song intact. but they did it whilst picking words with similar sounding phonetics to japanese. the emphasis of the words even seems to be in the same places (my favourite is the second chorus - ‘that emotion’ and ‘daremo’ (spelling might be wrong, sorry)). even the amount of syllables sound similar! it’s absolutely genius and flows so beautifully

As a bilingual I wish I could convey to people how amazing this is because hey omg I can’t even tell when the Japanese part starts and the English ends-?? Because even the Japanese and English sentences connect so well???

Yoasobi is so talented for keeping the charm of the original when singing in English, I sometimes didn't catch the language switch.

If you guys could spot it in most songs, that the two versions had different speed tempos. Japanese was a pinch faster than Eng but overall it really worked out in this video I will say that, well done

The reason both songs can be interchanged perfectly like this is because the song is matched perfectly straight down to the amount of syllables on each line. Its honestly incredible.

Her voice sounds so different in English that you would easily perfer it in Japanese, it's not that it sounds bad, but it just doesn’t hit as hard as the Japanese one.
