Adsum Nicholas Ik, I was joking as if you were really listening to this in 2018 lol, they really need to bring back a lot of Third Strike characters, they didn't even put one in at launch for SF4 or 5, smh
Adsum Nicholas Yeah ik, they're gonna put Ibuki in as well, they said it they made a mistake by not putting in a 3rd Strike character in at launch, and I'm just like of course it was idiots
Player: "Oh My God! I've just teleported in the Street Fighter world! Look! I can do Hadoukens, and Shoryukens and I can..." Gill: "The Mark Of My Dignity, Shall Scar Thy DNA." Player: "Im out of here..."
Love how SF 3 always had that sexy combination of acid jazz and urban (hiphop, dnb etc) that just seemed to fit the flow of fights perfectly. Great job man!
I personally feel like 3rd strike had the best soundtrack of any street fighter. 4 wouldn't use amen breaks like this. I'm offended. who did 3rd strike's soundtrack and why was he not rehired? if he was rehired, what the fuck happened?
Yeah, totally agree with you there. The use of so much DnB/Jungle in SF3's soundtrack is one of the things that to this day make it so unique and awesome.
They tried to go with a more arcade-y sound in 4 it feels like, but added in elements that make it sound "robotic" for lack of a better word. Some character themes I like, but the overall sound of sf4 just feels bland compared to sf3. Thankfully sf5's soundtrack picks up the slack a bit.
This honestly is the best Remix of Gill's theme. there is no doubt that this even if it somehow did get into Sf4 way back when it wouldn't fit. This song is on a whole different level to 4 and holds a much more cinematic feel to it, like this is definitely if not a battle theme for Gill Gill's story ending if not anything else. this song holds hints of all of His past theme mixed in together without ruining it or taking it from what it was, Gill a godlike being with a sense of being a higher being and yet a savagery for salvation that just can't be ignored, the opening is perfect for a long winded fight Against Gill as a hidden boss somewhere down the line and this Theme does Gill some real good justice, harmonic and catchy just like how 3rd strike did it, and you can get different sections from 2nd Impact to 3rd strike and it just work so well, if anyone has done a gill Remix right, then you good sir Have perfected it, This fits Gill to a T.
BEYOND F*CKING INCREDIBLE DUDE!!! This song got me through my worst on Parris Island of the USMC. >:) However.... GILL CAN NEVER DEFEAT DA AEGIS REFLECTAH!!!!!!!
@modeserpent : I agree. And what Gill says in his ending seems to hint at this. Gill is supernatural, more so than Bison, Seth, Ryu or Akuma. What sets him apart is that he is cruel but benevolent at the same time, making him all the more eerie. You can't tell whether you can trust him or not. Is he even human? His organization has guided human history. For all we know, Bison and Seth were nothing more but mere pawns in the grand scheme of Gill's ultimate plan.
Illest Gill remix I've heard... Can't stop listening to this yo. And I like how you incorporated all three themes in here almost seemlessly while giving it a nice twist. Seriously, props on this one fam. *daps* Keep the ill shit coming!
YES!!! I live for this remix. It sounds like his 2nd Impact and all three of the 3rd Strike version are woven together. I may be wrong but I know I really love this remix. Good Job!!!
I like how the remixer changed up a whole bunch of things but kept the original idea perfectly intact. Especially the percussion, holy crap does it have some kick to it.
