Oh the pain,anger,grief, fear. My dad was shot in the face with a 30.6 in a high speed chase protecting an ELDERLY couple. He made it 30 years after. There are books, movies ect about him. I hope God recognizes him,by not dieing right there he wasn't called a hero. My dad of complications from getting shot. This says nothing about how our lives were after. I miss my daddy!

This song is beautiful I'm not a LEO, but I've been around law enf. since I was born and I've heard the fatal shootings of two LEO's on my police radio when I was a kid. I've attended at least ten police funerals and have had two LEO's close to me commit suicide - one recent that I cannot find a way to get over. This song is a nice tribute. When I listen to it, I think of my lost friends and honor them. Thank you for this song, even though it is difficult for me to hear.

I have a great deal of respect for the Police, Fire department, and EMTS. I was nearly killed by a 16 yo with a knife hiding in my mini van. When I was bleeding to death did I call for a famous basketball player, football hero, or an Hollywood actor ? NO, I wanted an EMT to hurry and get to me in time. Yet those who help us the most are paid so little. We have it up side down. I am grateful for all they do for us. Cheryl
