How to answer this. Veggies are not any better. Vegans are uninformed about what they think its "organic." Nothing, and i do mean NOTHING that they eat is natural or organic. Veggies have been genetically engineered and modified for CENTURIES. Corn, for example, before the Europeans got their hands on it was a fraction of its current size. It was about 3 or 4 inches long, skinny and the corn was not of a single color,. It consisted of shades of reds, oranges, yellows and darker colors. And dont even start on fruits, the engineering to make a watermelon will make you sick. Original size of watermelons was about the size of an apple, but now they can weight, in the store, up to 30 pounds, or 14 kilos. Unfortunately, nothing that is commercially available is natural. So we eat the "lesser" of evils and just chug down the truth and hope that it doesnt kill us with cholesterol, diabetes, high blood pressure, hearts attacks or strokes. Skimmed milk means you have to fill the container with MORE of the product (it's had fat removed) than if you put "whole" (not actually whole) product in. It makes perfect sense that it costs more, just like hard cheeses like parmasean cost more per ounce because they have to use up more milk to make them. (it's also why parmasean is one of the most ecologically destructive cheeses, and cottage cheese the least. Though it's ALL pretty enviro-unfriendly.)

You'd feel exactly the same if you were drinking dairy.
