If the Earth was flat, we would be able to look out and see very far, assuming that there were no buildings in the way. We could see another city that’s hundreds of miles away. Or a ship sailing out to sea. The boat would stay in view no matter how far out to sea it went. However, if we look out when standing on the ground, we can’t see that far. We can’t look out into the distance and see a town that’s miles away. And a ship will slowly start to disappear from view as it gets farther away. This is because the Earth is round. Things in the distance are not visible because there is a curve to the landscape. One way to test this is to watch the sunset. Find a spot where you can see the sunset, and also have a place close by where you can safely move higher, such as a tree or building. Or even start laying down and then stand up. On the ground, the sun will eventually disappear beyond the horizon. When this happens, quickly go to your higher spot. From there, you’ll be able to see the sun again for a brief time. You have probably seen that when the sun is out, it causes a shadow to form if it hits something. It turns out that we can use shadows as another piece of evidence that the Earth is round

For example, Ezekiel 1:22, "The likeness of the firmament above the heads of the living creatures was like the color of an awesome crystal, stretched out over their heads." Elsewhere in scripture, the firmament is described as "strong as a molten looking glass", crystalline in nature. I understand what man says makes it impossible to envision the firmament as the bible describes it. "They" are not keeping you from going to Antarctica and flying over and past it. Geography and weather make it difficult and expensive, but rent a big plane and do it. Sail around it. If it is on the bottom of a globe it will take a certain number of days, if it is on the outside of a flat circle it will take many times longer.

As another reply said, seismographs can map out the inner earth. Just as you don't need to drill into a pregnant woman to see what the baby looks like, we don't have to literally dig into the earth to see what it's made of.

Even the most skilled hikers would risk certain death in that environment, there’s no infrastructure to provide assistance in the event someone gets into an emergency. You’d fucking freeze to death, or die if thirst since it’s our planets largest desert (if you believe in planets Lmao). And you can’t exactly just take a ship anywhere you want, you have to check in with local coastguard. That’s why they stop you via ship. There was almost a war over claiming Antarctica but then there was a treaty that it’s scientific value was worth protecting (e.g., most of our climate geology data comes from the ice, who doesn’t love penguins, etc. ) Look up the treaty. Do your own research. They don’t want other countries trying to lay claim to the continent, but if you really wanna go camping there you can if you have the resources. I live near a USAF base that has one if the two ski planes in the world that go down there and it’s really very simple explanations as to why no one goes there. It’s so damn cold fuel stops combusting. It’s a logistical nightmare. Hence why it’s protects for science, it has no value other than stoking some dictators ego

Physical evidence shows that we live in a flat level stationary greenhouse. Greenhouses have to be enclosed. All stars rotate together at the same speed which means they are all connected. We would have no idea what's under, or even if there is a under, we would have no way of knowing. But there's no downward curvature is all that matters.

The stars rotating with no star parallax shows we're not wobbling and flying. Us not feeling any movement, with complete equilibrium all over the world and no movement felt shows that we're not moving. Stars never lose their relative position to each other showing their at the same distance with different brightness.

There is stellar parallax, so I'm not sure why you're just lying there. It was measured first in the 19th century by dudes like Friedrich Bessel, it's just not noticeable to the naked eye 4.We don't feel the movement of the Earth because it is constant. We only feel acceleration. If you're standing in a plane, do you feel yourself going 500 miles per hour? Didn't think so. The atmosphere also moves with the Earth. 5. This last point is so bizarre. Firstly, it's just not true, stellar parallax and simply watching and measuring the stars for centuries shows that they move separately. Also, how does this prove flat earth?
