Hey John, this is a fun tip but, at least with Revit 2022 or later, you can no longer copy reference planes in a view title family. So hang on to those title block families with reference planes added because you won’t be able to replicate with new families in newer versions of Revit.

I use the guide grids for locating my views. You can embed these within your title block as well without using reference lines/invisible lines. Means you don't need to add a visibility parameter to turn them on or off.
