In this video, we look at "automatic dimensions". These dimensions are not truly automatic like tag all by category but you can use an entire wall to create a full dimension string. We look at the settings for this as well.

Nice, glad you saw the usefulness in the guide grids. As someone else commented ( and I did on another video about this), you really need to "crop the boundary" of the guide grids so you see one intersection ( 4 quadrants only) and then use that to align the grids instead of having the grid guide all over the whole sheet

This does make sense! No real reason to have it extending beyond the sheet for visual purposes. Thanks for the tip!

Reference plane can do snapping as well.

I would check out some of these. I have not used them but used others in the past that have worked well: apps.autodesk.com/RVT/en/Detail/Index?id=4485576807684749513&appLang=en&os=Win64
