The best butter cookies i've ever tasted! I made four flavors: Original, Matcha, Chocolate, and Earl Grey to satisfy everyone.
Sable Breton is know for its distinct caramel, buttery aroma, crumbly texture. A sprinkle of salt to highlight its rich flavor.
They are soooo easy to make and also great for gift.

Batter base (enough for four flavors. if you only make a single flavor, please divide the base recipe by four)
365 g unsalted butter(use salted butter, omit the salt below)
250 g powdered sugar
4 g salt flower or coarse sea salt
3 g baking powder
2 tsp vanille paste(or vanilla extract)
4 egg yolks

125 g all-purpose flour
1 tsp rum
Chocolate / Chocolate
118 g all-purpose flour
1 ½ tablespoons cocoa powder ¼ teaspoon instant coffee powder
1 tsp rum
Matcha Honey Red Beans
118 g all-purpose flour
6 g Japanese matcha powder (if you like extra strong matcha flavor, you can increase to 7g)
3 tablespoons honey red beans
Earl Grey
118 g all-purpose flour
6 g earl grey powder
2 tsp lemon or orange zest
2 tsp milk
