How to Make Fluffy Japanese Pancakes in Your Own Kitchen
Ingredients:
2 eggs
4 teaspoons (20ml) milk
3 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons sugar
Step by step:
- Isolate the egg yolks from the egg whites.
- Combine milk, vanilla extract, and flour with the yolks. Stir the mixture thoroughly.
- Whisk the egg whites, slowly incorporating sugar.
- Incorporate a few tablespoons of whipped egg whites into the yolks, mixing thoroughly.
- Pour the combined mixture into the remaining egg whites and blend - thoroughly.
- Transfer the prepared mixture into a pastry bag. If a pastry bag is not available, you can also carefully spoon the mixture into the pan.
- Warm the pan over low heat and introduce vegetable oil.
- Carefully deposit the mixture into the pan, add a small amount of water, cover, and cook for 3-5 minutes.
- Flip the pancakes, add a touch more water, and continue cooking for an additional 3-5 minutes.
