I had to get my gums laser off too and it hurt so bad, after they did it my teeth were so sensitive. But now my teeth look better

OMG. Gummy smiles are fine. Teeth cleaning by the hygienist causes my gums to squeal. I don't think raising them up like a flap is going to be a thing for me.

My gums started growing over my back molars after i had my wisdom teeth out. I had 3 surgeries taking chunks of gum and bone out 😂

@bentist may i ask what is happening to the roof of the inside of my mouth it starts to feel dry and rough feeling after i swallow saliva unconsciously usually lasts for about 20 minutes after it just subsides

I'd say get an emergency appointment because if you don't wear it your teeth will most definitely shift!! If you do get the appointment, they'll go ahead and make you a new one!! I know if had an issue with mine I'dgo ahead and do so. I think it'd be very important to get done right away before any shifting ends up messing up your treatment and your smile! Just be careful in the future lol

@@Muffin-Otherpaw I've thought about that, I want something more permanent though like the screw in stuff. I was born without a few of my teeth and also never got braces or alignment so I look like I have literal goblin teeth. I plan to just get them removed and replaced with all fake ones because I have worn my originals down to almost nothing with my constant grinding and most of them still being baby teeth

Hey bentist, I don’t think this has anything to do with this video but, I need some tips for my teeth. I’m 9 years old now and had my two front teeth since 6 and a half. I’ve been having insecurities about my teeth for a long time. Now I wear a mask in school sometimes so I can cover up my teeth. The dentist said I don’t need braces because I have a frenulum too close to my teeth. Have any tips to make my space close any faster?

Get the frenulum lasered shorter and then get braces. The procedure is called a frenectomy or a frenulectomy and is not painful, but will help you out a lot later in life.

I have lots of gum showing AND big teeth. I dont think any lasering or flap folding is necessary. Just how my mouth is. I do have braces right now...day 8, i still cant chew. My ortho said only a couple days of pain. She lied. Big time. Glad i binged your videos and figured it would take longer. I will say until i met my husband i would cover my smile bc of my gums. When we were dating he qsked me why and after i told him he said my smile was beautiful. I havent covered my mouth to smile since. Unless im eating of course😅.

That’s if the teeth are out of place but this is for teeth that are in the correct position but are being covered by gum tissue

Yes if you constantly eat sugar so you should stop eating it. The sensitivity will go away eventually. But if you do keep eating it often I guarantee you’ll get cavities
