It's all talk. Objectively what do we have here? A 2nd rate comic whose done a few movie roles as basically an extra, and used to be a thief. 90% of people only know him because one of the best podcasts in the world gave him a ton of exposure because it's run by a mate of his who loves him
Edward Jones that makes no sense. Plenty of people have walked across Joes platform, doesn’t automatically make you a star. You have to have something that people want and Joey has that. People don’t come to his podcast and comedy shows to please joe.
you dudes have no right to judge this man or any other, probably got more heart than every man in your family. his point is, "if you down,GET THE FUCK UP" dont sit an whine about it, you gotta TRY TO MAKE IT BETTER" an "dont let nobody play you, unless you playin the same game". he's tryin to inspire you sherms.
They can’t open a case on someone who did non aggressive / murderous crimes that are over 7 years old it’s dead . Should have caught him when he was doing it
Actually, he used to work as a car's salesman and would earn 5-8k a month. Blew it on coke but... still had many jobs such as being an electrician, roofing, brick laying, countless others.
@Quail Man prove he's making it up then bro lol, just because he's led a more interesting life than you that a lot of people enjoy listening to about doesn't mean you have to be a hater. I'm only 21 and the shit Ive done and experienced most people probably wouldn't believe, that's just the way it is sometimes
@@trevorhatcher1255 how could you possibly know who tells better stories? I swear most people on the internet talk shit that's just nonsense in an attempt to hurt someone else for saying something they didn't like. You know it doesn't mean anything or bother the person when you say something personal about them but obvious don't know them personally. Are you just a over emotional kid with no friends? RU-vidrs are not your friend and don't need you help in defending themselves against some anonymous nobody on the internet. They don't even know you exist, if you died tomorrow they would still sleep like baby.
Fun loving criminal . Ive been a member since 97. It’s funny how Joey tells us not to approach him and bother him in public , so every so often when I see him I turn my head and walk in a different direction. .
It's a great story but Joey could buy a BMW if he wanted and his grandfather who painted trash and sold it for $50 probably never could have. Even if you hustle, your lot in life is also heavily determined by circumstances and some people remain broke even while working hard.
@Ahsan Karim you're right, nothing worth doing is going to be easy. All I'm saying is there's no shame in being broke. It's not a matter of working away until finally it's your turn to be wealthy, not everyone gets to be rich in their lifetime.
@@RonYoYo Working smarter not harder is just a dumb platitude, there's no guarantees there either. We're not all going to be smart enough and we don't all know the right people. Being happy with what you've got is more important I think.
@@JC-wg5xn yea I guess if you don't care about being successful that's the mindset to take but I like to think most people aspire for more. and happiness is irrelevant here, success is not about happiness ask any wealthy person and you'll see that.
Joey Diaz has busted his ass to get where he is at but if it weren't for Joe Rogan who knows . Rogan has helped a lot of comedians . Hard work don't pay off if you're not doing it in front of the right people .
There is a whole team of DAs or ADAs listening to each podcast in an attempt to solve past crimes. One day we may see Diaz on a walker going into a courthouse for some crime he confessed to on the podcast.
Mr. Sir Obviously, I’m being a bit facetious. More than likely, the statute of limitations is long since passed. I “ think” (hope) that sinful, shameful lifestyle is in his distant past. He hurt a lot of people. It seems he’s remorseful about the past but frequently uses those stories now humorously to make $ in the podcast. He should take some of his wealth and find the people he stole from and give it back. The lady he stole $800 from might appreciate it back. Peace!
Good story teller. Dont give me excuses! I dont care if your sick etc...You can make money working a lot of different ways. Shame on you if you cant. But, let me steal some cash (from the people that are paying me great) and spend it on a coke binge. Okay, I think I got it. LMAO!!!
He suffered for it and went to jail and didn't earn his current success from that. Also, he didn't say you couldn't use illegal methods anyway. What's your point?
Dude look at this fat funny fuck, he ain't worked a day in he's life fuck he wouldn't know the meaning of it. He's entertaining for sure and i love the guy but doubt he'd sweat a day in he's life (besides from all the sweat that he'd build up just from breathing)
I'm 22. I have 1 dollar. That is all. I live with my parents. I can't drive due to a seizure disorder. The nearest town from my house is 20 miles. My parents have jobs and can't drive me to a job. I can't walk or ride a bike down busy roads with a seizure disorder. I feel like I can't live. What am I supposed to do? I can't get to a job. I can't work. Plus my disorder and makes me a liability so it's hard to be hired. Last job I had lasted 2 weeks. Had 1 seizure which put mr in bed for a day and was let go. Thats my excuse.. but i guess you are right. My excuses are stupid and I'm just a failure that sucks at life. Thanks for helping me see that my excuses are irrelevant to my situation.. :/
Try and get on disability I guess. Doesn't seem like you have much of a choice. Some people really do need it. Or try and get ahold of your disorder. A friend of mine had seizures and she couldn't get a license either. She ended up getting medication in high school so she could drive and work
its Crimmy get on disability. take a fraction of that money and invest it to make more money, advertising content. Buying and selling things, shit drugs 😂 if anyone wants it enough, you can get there
Have you ever heard of hellen keller? Im not sure what she actually did, but from what i remember she was blind and deaf. And people still talk about her. So yeah, sounds like youre having a pity party over there.
Joey is usually a cool guy but in this clip it is lame how he is bragging about how he could easily make tons of money but just chooses not to. Just because he somehow turned a life of crime into comedy and acting doesn’t mean that’s something reasonable to expect from others. The humble brag stuff never sounds good from anybody.
I have to disagree with Joey on this one. I have been down low and made it, that doesn't mean that (a) everyone is like me. for example someone maybe weaker; (b) we don't know what a person went through to be at a low point and broke. Lazy is one explanation but I bet its a rare thing. Most people are psychologically damaged , and in some cases very damaged.....from war, family abuse etc; (c) you can not expect every person to steal like you did Joey, even though we joke about it now. Some people have families, work 2-3 jobs and still hungry!! So we always need to try and show compassion to the other person. Money is not everything in life. I have to say I hate it that people who somehow made it after being in the gutter, point their finger and expect everyone to make it the same way. Sometimes having an opportunity is all about luck. And some people don't have that lucky moment.
The point he is trying to make is to not give up. Us Westerners tend to play a victim role and give up. My mother is like this. Most American women are like this. More and more men are becoming like this. Helpless. And then when someone offers them advice or talk about money making ideas, they ignore it and say "oh but that's for other people. I can't do that." To this day, people still see me as a nerd or know-it-all or a weirdo or even arrogant if I tell them how they can succeed. I'm freaking 28 years old and they still act like this towards me as if we're in High School. I try to incorporate business oriented lessons in my English classes and these grown ass adults say it's too much information and they want to hear something "easy" like shopping or sports. What do they have in common? They are all broke and have no imagination and feel helpless. We teachers teach only 2-4 hours a day YET they are always tired. They laugh when I say that we should work a 2nd job. These same idiots (English teachers in China) are so short-sighted that they rather get frustrated and go back to the U.S. and work in an office or at Starbucks where they would have to work 8 hours a day (2 weeks of vacation) for 15 bucks an hour. Even when it comes to speaking to hot girls, I see guys act helpless and be like, "nah, that's not my style to say that. She won't like me. She looks like a slut anyway. I just want to be myself." Can't get pussy and can't get money. And they wonder why they end up broke with a fat wife. And if they do have a hot wife, they act like groveling husbands that can't turn her on because they still act helpless and just throw her money.
TheSwordfish009 You're as high as Joey Diaz is if you think that nonsense applies to everybody out there who's broke, mate. If it's as simple as this, become an entrepreneur and put together a multi-million dollar manifesto that can change the fortunes of society. Should be simple.
@@GilbertSyndrome Listen you smart ass , i usually don't answer to idiots like you that want to play smart with me. First of all you took one part of my comment and blown it out of proportion. I just took the extreme cases of people who are homeless, sleep anywhere they can find , etc (just like Joey Diaz did part of his life) ....I wasn't discussing different economic classes (i.e., low, middle, high) of people !!! Although I can do it , given that I do study the different free market economies like the USA, Sweden , Denmark etc. However I don't want to discuss things with a moron like you. It will be a waste of time!

Yea he's got the rough raspy voice that oddly relaxes the hell out of me, good for anxiety. I listen to Alan Watts lately also....he was great, lot of insight into why we get anxious and everything....really helps.

you have to keep meeting new people when your trying to get rich. you have have to constantly meet new connects and make relationships and create a good reputation. its like traveling, its a lot quicker to get somewhere with help from friends.
What if u live in lancaster,NH and their is no opportunity for getting money illegally. All u can do is sell some drugs but their aint enough people to get rich off of unless u live in a high populated town like saint johnsburry. Its fucked
what I took away from this is that electronics are made to break and jkey diaz knoes a good purchase when he sees one. my 42 in flat screen shattered from just rotating the screen after 2 years. pos

Ya I could go outside right now, punch the first person I see and run they pockets, but life is bigger than that. So fuck you.

The human psyche is malleable as fuck. You never stay grounded. You may hold on to some principles or habits, but eventually your perception is largely colored by your present circumstances. Circumstances of which you're less of a puppet master than you think. The ego might tell you all you got you deserved, good and bad, but we don't control our destiny. And that's the problem with differentiating yourself from others. And that's one of several deceitful aspects of the american dream, which is the dream of a child and the number one tool of the masters to maintain status quo. A status quo that will end us all.
he worked hard in the right ways. most people work hard at a 9-5 that’s never gonna advance them anywhere. if it doesn’t work, change it till it does work
