10:20 “what a weird name for a club.” In Paraguay we have teams called: 2nd of May. 12th of October. 3rd of February. 24th of September. Another 12th of October. And so many more...
I think Keisuke Honda has done more weird things in his career than just a move to Melbourne Victory. The guy played in both Mexico and Brazil leagues, and is currently the national team manager of Cambodia. To say that you travelled to Brazil, Russia and Australia on its own is already an impressive feat, considering how far apart those countries are. To say that you played top football in all those leagues AND be a manager of a national team while still being active in the sport. That's strange footballing career.
nah for mexico its efrain juarez who started in the 2010 world cup as a 22 year old promising player who was versatile being able to play both fullback positions and in the midfield he was part of the u17 mexico team that won the world cup in 2005 and had spent time in the barca academy and after the 2010 world cup was signed by celtic which was seen as his first step into europe and that he would soon move on to a bigger club challenging for the ucl instead a couple years later after a loan to reap zaragoza in spain he came back to mexico for a few years but for the last couple years of his career he ended up playing in the norwegian 1st division for valerenga a mid table team carlos vela at least accomplished something in europe and has doninated the mls
He keeps saying "Inter Milan were the Champions of Europe in 2010! Remember that?" as an Inter fan I'm LOVING THIS VIDEO. Also kinda hating it because those times aren't coming back anytime soon😑
showing love from SA🔥❤️FYI Steven Pienaar was a bag of shit when he returned home. couldn't break in the first 11 of the 4th best time in SA🤦♂️shameful
The better choice for Slovenia would've been Valter Birsa signing for AC Milan in 2013, since they were still world class in 2010 and he was never exactly a world beater...
Gladbach are a bigger team historically than Roma you know! 5x Bundesliga Champions, 3x DFB Pokal winners, 2x UEFA Cup winners and have reached the European Cup final once where they lost to Liverpool in 77. Roma meanwhile may have won the Coppa Italia 9 times but they only have 3 Serie A titles and have reached the European Cup final once, also losing to Liverpool in 84 and the UEFA Cup final once, losing to Inter Milan in 91. Roma's advantage is purely in the name - ROME is a bigger draw than Gladbach - On footballing merit however Borussia Monchengladbach are the bigger club.
