Thank you for this video. My partner and I broke up 3 months ago because of his mother. He was my friend for 12 years and best friend for 5 years & committed partner for 1 year. Once we became romantically committed, his mother went into divide and conquer mode. She made his life unbearable. She would constantly try to disrupt the time we had together and made out that I was a gorl from hell when really I tried so hard to make her happy, sending her care packages every time she had a cold or flu. In the end he wanted peace and he couldn't break up with her, so he broke up with me. I've been on no contact now for those 3 months we've been apart and not a peep from him, so I'm moving on with my life now. I'm sad and had really hoped he would miss me. I don't want to reach out because I'd be taking away a huge learning opportunity for him of I did that. That's what I think, anyway.
