Thank you! I've got so many household sprayers that simply quit for no reason. Just to want to say how wonderful your workspace looks. It's surely an inspiration for me to get it together! 😂
Very much obliged Sir just sharing about the solo sprayer. I just use it for McKee’s N917 solution. After a month it clogs. So I removed cleaned the ball filter but still it won’t mist. So I ended up removing the ball. Now after 6 months still doing fine. Stay blessed 🙏🫡
Informative, on-point, respectful, and fair assessment. Well done. Community engagement is about storytelling. I have a few of the Pressol bottles and really like them. My favourite part is the wide base so the bottles don't tip over as easy as most.
Thanks for sharing! Im really trying to be authentic and honest and share my experiences, while also recognizing that what works well for me may not be the right choice for someone else. Thanks again for taking the time to watch and comment.
I agree - I love the look of the bottles, but I think they aren't the most comfortable to use. The part that sticks out the back on top into the webspace of your hand is too short and can be uncomfortable. But they sure do look cool. Looks over function to a degree.
I use the Solo sprayer with brake buster and have no problems whatsoever. Make sure you rinse with clean water and you’re gtg! Hope that helps someone.
It’s probably the plastic tip. They need to be tight for it to atomize, but sometimes they form stress cracks. Look at the tip and I bet yours is cracked. OG sells them for cheap. I agree it’s annoying
@@improvedgarage Actually now that I look at it I can see the head is cracked. Is that from tightening it too much? Assuming that the industrial aspect of them is in the mechanism part I can just take a tip off of one of the regular sprayers I swapped out for the industrial ones. Looks like that's essentially what they sell on the OG site.
can see these being more for diy'ers or those who are just working on their own vehicle in a home setting. Personally, I don't put as much weight behind looks or care how pretty my tools or sprayers especially at this price point but if that is your thing then I can see why.
Yea, these are as nice to look at as they are to use. If I was using bottles all day every day and they didn't hold up I could totally see myself using something like marolex, KC, or Zip bottles since they ar eco much cheaper.
Marolex are nice, but I’ve got major ergonomic issues with the plunger. Can’t get hands around such a small pump-grab to allow easy pumping. Needs a rethink there.
Is a foaming sprayer necessary with a wheel & tire cleaner? I’m looking at 1:3 dilutions. Cleaner is alkaline … perhaps 12. If not, bottle recommendation?
I personally use the Marolex Industry 1000 pump sprayer. amzn.to/48A6PzI I run brake buster 1:1 with water and find it works well. Another option is to buy a cheap foam cannon like this one on amazon: amzn.to/3tcDDi5 and use that. Just know youll end up replacing it at some point.
Thanks for the detailed info!! Can the pressol industrial weighted sprayers fit on the IK spray bottle? I unfortunately already have about 15 IK spray bottles but the sprayers just suck!!!!! Real bad!! And I'm trying to come up with a solution of not having to replace or throw away all of those bottles
sorry for the delay, was waiting for a new IK mini to arrive to test. The pressol sprayers thread on to the IK and IK mini bottles without an issue, they can be tightened and don't leak. The 500ML weighted tubes that i have are too long for the mini bottles and too short for the normal IK bottles (they go down to about the 200 ml line). They can easily be cut down, so i would buy the 1000ML version of the pressol sprayers (which are longer) and cut the tubes to fit your IK bottles if you need to. bit.ly/3EYAeG4 has the 1000 ml sizes as an option
@@improvedgarage My Man!!! Thank you for the info!!! Seriously...I was expecting a yeah it should work or nah, your beat lol. Seriously tho, Thank you!! There is hope for my dilemma!!
Forensic Detailing Channel has a good video on spray bottles. He also talks about some different sprayer options for the IK bottles...maybe check it out. You might like those better than the Pressol sprayers.
Hey, thanks for the info! Any chance you can share the cricut template file? Maybe would be a good video to throw together quickly and then just share the link to the file directly on it?
Thanks for watching!! They are from obsessed garage. 48x12" you can check this video for more info: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9uUKUL2UHh0.html here is an older video of the installation ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EaMgLaeXEIc.html
Ill do a full video on the cricut, in the mean time heres the file without the IG logo design.cricut.com/landing/project-detail/63ba27a2ba28d285d185f9e6
@@improvedgarage Thanks. I figured it probably had some one way teeth like that. I wish Stoner sold larger quantities. Makes me want to try another brand so I can buy by the gallon or so.
@@improvedgarage Oh, hey, cool. Just googled and saw the 5gal version. Granted it would take me years to get through that. I might be better just doing the repackaging thing like you're doing. I did the math - you save $0.03/oz on the 5gal size, or, you'd spend an extra $20 buying 32oz bottles to get to 5gal.
Hello, I got the project into Cricut Design Space, but it tells me that the project cannot be made or customized. How can I modify it for the product I have.
Has anyone ever asked Matt how or why he came up with terms for these sprayers like v1.1 or v1.3? In a different fb group where a couple people had issues with their pressol sprayers and contacted pressol directly. They were told that there is no such thing as there being different iterations or improvements made for these sprayers ever since coming to market.
I honestly don't know. OG mentioned starting to offer a warranty on them, and sending chemicals to pressol for testing, but ive never seen him explain 1.1 vs 1.3 and what has changed.. I just assume he wouldn't lie about it, in my interactions with him he's been straight up and honest.
I don't but ill happily share the label file for anyone interested in doing their own. I did a whole video on the cricut joy recently, its a pretty useful little machine.
Youre right! I misspoke in my video, degreasers are usually highly alkaline. The sprayers seem to fail whenever something is far away from neutral (PH7)
@@improvedgarage I thought they would be also 32 ounces . Not having to refill abottle or maybe they would have a few with the same ingredients . When one is empty , switch to the full one , etc
@@improvedgarage I've been using bottle crew brand of spray bottle . Onetime I remember my hand aching so much . Now , I understand why to use the pump sprayers / foamers . Where you manually pump them or can use a type of air compressor to pressurize them . And now are the battery operated / cordless that are better fpr professional detailers .
@@peterrudy9207 I agree. I also have some battery operated solo sprayers which are great for things like waterless car wash that require a-lot of spraying.
