I started with about 100 subscribers at the beginning ogf 2021 and now have 832….so it has been growing steadily since I have been working hard to grow it. I have had 110 new subs in the past 28 days. Of course anyone who wants to share and send the channel and/or videos to their friends is always helpful to get more exposure.
Hey I have a 04 chevy and it’s also dropped but the ride is very rough the suspension is stiff and I think it’s because it’s to low but I’m not too sure since I bought the truck already lowered and I’m also new to the dropping trucks and what it all means and also why do these trucks lean like that to one side and is there a fix to it because mine does it too
To figure out why your truck rides so rough, you need to check your shocks and look into exactly what lowering parts are on your truck. The lean is called the “Chevy Lean” and it is from the factory frame not being square. The easiest way to get rid of it is to lift the front driver corner suspension about 1” or so.
You can pull the 1” isolator in the front to drop it another 1” in the front. Any lower and you run out of camber adjustment in the front. On the rear it is as simple as running a lowering shackle. Your limitation from there will be hitting the axle on the c notch.
Thanks for the video ,, you explain how to do the drop step by step ,,and the camera work and sound is great ,, other videos are dark /unfocused /or too far away ,, sound is garbled ,, or stupid music is playing ,,, But your videos are great for info /crystal clear /focused/ well lit ,, and the camera positioning and lighting you do must be a bitch to figure out sometimes ,,in those cramped spots , but you do, so thank you for your commitment and time to do these videos
The purpose of the c-notch is so that your axle doesn’t ride on the frame or only have around 1” of travel before it smacks the frame. You need the extra clearance because you are moving the axle up closer to the frame.
Get the Belltech Street Performance Silver shocks as shown in the front end lowering video. There is a direct link to them in the video description. On the rear end just use the IHC shocks that come in the kit.
Then you would beed 2 of these for the back end. www.amazon.com/dp/B004BRHOB6/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_WXPQVNZS52907FM79TPY?linkCode=ml2&tag=whiplashmotor-20
This drop is 4” off drop in the front and 6” in the rear total when the drop is complete. This was just the rear. There os a video of the front and a video of my review of this IHC drop kit so be sure to check those out. Thanks
@@jasonportillo2717 oh, for the c-notch. Yes, it is the numbers shown in the video. I would have to go back and watch it to get the numbers again. I don’t remember them off the top of my head.
Dang, that sucks. Sorry to hear that. There is one thing that I have had an issue with and that is the upper ball joint getting grease into the rubber boot area past the joint. Have you had any luck with that? My grease that went in it still on top of the joint.
@@whiplashtv2022 naw mine went in good and stayed there. You mentioned the Chevy lean? Man I thought these kits were supposed to fix that issue with their sink in lower control arms?
