Most pleasant interview I have seen from the legend. Congrats cinema express guys.. U have shown the real illaya raja to us.. The way he admitted the recent controversies is admirable and his regret for doing that is visible in his eyes as well.

Look at the way he finishes the interview with 'romba nandri' to these small time interviewers in a humble manner. All haters, understand the man is not actually bad as you may think. He's just open enough to show his feelings, not like most people who hides all the dirt inside and smile.

I literally kissed raja sir on mobile, when he replied to the question "Define ilayaraja". When he accepts what he is, he becomes a child. Who wouldn't love a child? What would i do if my daughter says " I couldn't help, i did it"? I felt the same way when he answered the question. You are like the rain, a natural element. Whenever i want to, i can get drenched and so are many others. You are the first person whom i addressed Sir, so righteous to call you as Sir.

Noble prize There a host setsup a roundtable conversation arrangement, where noble prize winners of various subjects discuss random things in a relaxed manner. Those personalities talk in a whole different level. Ilayaraja sir is such personality type, a typical in a nobel winner type. THE BEST in this series so far! You got some NEWS out of him. OMG! IR composed Mani Ratnam's "Unaru" for FREE? I knew he composed "Pallavi Anupallavi" (Kannada) for 1/5th of his usual salary. Such a GENUINE person who does NOT sugar-coat his words or manipulates them to get applause from the audience. Hats off, MAESTRO.

Ilayaraja sir's answers shows how genuine he is. As he said the way he behaves might be his nature. Also I should mention that both the interviewers are very humble and polite in the way they asked the questions. May be thats why Ilayaraja sir looks more comfortable in this interview. இன்று வந்த உணர்வு இவரைப்பற்றி... தூங்கி எழும்போது வந்தது.... ஒரு பாடலுக்காக பல நாட்கள் செலவு செய்து இசை அமைப்பது பெரிதா.. இல்லை கூறிய அடுத்த நிமிடம் இசை அமைப்பது பெரிதா என்று.... இப்போ உள்ள காலத்துல ஒரு சிங்கர் ப்ரோக்ராம் ல பாட்டு பாடி மிகப்பெரிய சேனல் ல அந்த இசையை சரியா வழங்க முடில நமக்கு கேட்கும்போது கஷ்டமா இருக்கு... ஆனால் இவர் இசை கேட்கும் போது.. இஞ்சி அசரா பிழையின்றி... அந்த சுருதி நாதம் இப்படி அனைத்தும் சரியாக அந்தக்காலத்தில் முடியும் என்றால்.... இவரை விட சிறந்த படைப்பு உண்டா இவ்வுலகில்.... பாரதி வள்ளுவன் கம்பன் கண்ட தமிழ்நாடு கூறினார்... அக்காலத்தில் இவர் இருந்திருந்தால் இளையராஜா கண்ட தமிழ்நாடு என்று பட்டிருப்பார். -நன்றி அருண் பாஸ்கர் நாகப்பட்டினம்.

We all know that Sri Ilayaraja's music is beautiful. Now we see that his smile is just as beautiful. Sir, can we please see more of this side of you during interviews? This interview is fascinating in many ways. First, the exquisite detail and the effortless ease with which he describes the song-making process. Second, the open acknowledgement that he may be making others uncomfortable, but more importantly, the courage to admit that he is unable to control that. Third, how awesome it is to see him in such a pleasant frame of mind. Kudos to the interviewers for the kind of questions that brought out the beauty in the person of the Maestro! 👏👏👏

Interview with Raajaa Sir naa ரொம்ப tough ஆ... இறுக்கமா இருக்கும்... இதுல அவர் ஆத்மார்த்தமா பேசி மனச அள்ளிக்கிறார்... சரி கடைசில நல்ல ரசனையோட சுந்தரி கண்ணால் ஒரு சேதி.. பாட்ட வார்த்தைகள்ள கேட்கறதவிட வயலின்ல அந்த ஏற்ற இறக்கங்கள கேட்கும் போது கண்ல நீர் கோர்த்து அப்படியே முழுசா 300 வினாடி அதில மூழ்கிட மாட்டோமா ன்னு மனசு தவிக்குது... ஏம்ப்பா அந்த Sweet melancholy oru full swing போறதுக்குள்ள மென்னிய புடிக்கிறீங்களே.. இலை போட்டு உணவு பரிமாறி இலையை இழுத்து விட்ட மாதிரி இருக்கு..

இசைஞானியை தலைக்கனம் பிடித்தவர் என்று சொல்லும் பலர், அவரின் கருணை, கஷ்டத்தில் உதவிசெய்யும் மனப்பான்மையை இந்த பலர் சொல்வதேயில்லை அல்லது பலருக்கு தெரிந்திருக்கவும் வாய்ப்பில்லை. இன்றும் இளையராஜாவின் melody பாடல்களுக்கு நான் அடிமை. 100 ஆண்டு வாழவேண்டும் இந்த இசை கடவுள்.

உண்மை சகோ. பாரதிராஜாவுக்கு பட்ஜெட் குறைவு என்பதால் பணம் வாங்காமல் இசை. தலைக்கனம் பிடித்தவர் எனின் ஏன் கமலின் ஹேராம் க்கு இசையமைத்து இருப்பார்.
