Not everyone wants length and frankly this is why I avoid the comments section on videos sometimes because y'all getting mad at WHAT SOMEONE ELSE DOES WITH THEIR HAIR is completely asinine. Like she wanted the cut. Kee (Deeper than hair) gave her what she asked for. Client is pleased. Kee (Deeper than hair) is please. Y'all are upset. Like do y'all see what's NOT adding up here? 🤔
A lotta people still associate hair cut = bad and hair length = beautiful even if it's completely damaged ends that are holding the rest of the hair from being healthy 🤦
I’m not even gonna lie. I did get mad when I seen her cutting her hair like it was mine.. 😂 partially cause I’m in the state of trying to grow my hair out. But you’re completely right. It’s Her hair , so it’s her choice.🤷🏽♀️
Her hair is gorgeous! I know I want a bob and im debating how short i want to go. I do understand their sentiment though. I knew this girl with hair almost to het butt and she told me she wanted to cut it short because it was too much work and she didnt wear it out any way. At that point in time, I had only ever seen 1 other black woman with such long hair ( ive only seen arm pit length as the longest). After dealing with 3 major hair cuts, I struggled to grow my hair even half past my neck. So yes I was shocked, and even tried to convince her not to do it. I dont think people are upset with her as much as they are projecting their experience/insecurities with hair growth onto her.
When she removes the clingfilm and brushes it with the comb is my favorite part!! The hair is so glossy and beautifully feathered and swooshy. I love it, so satisfying!🖤🖤
I am trying to figure out, how to pick up your shop and move you all to Florida....you are so amazing, I love a hair stylist that is all about healthy hair
Wow that was amazing. I love the way you explain yourself to keep the energy positive and help your clients achieve not only great hair styles, but healthy hair.
Her hair is gorgeous and she is gorgeous, but seriously you guys do not put out enough videos and I absolutely love your work! Especially with those shears! Girl you be clippin! We need more!
Sara McIntosh im natural but i wear my hair mostly straight too (i say mostly cause i dont KILL it with heat as i dont like the limp look) Just easy. No fuss. Wash blow dry, quick pass with flat iron -takes less than 1.5 hrs.-and im good for at LEAST a week. (With quarantine in effect, ive been going nearly two weeks before rewashing.)
@@jasmynmadison5984 if you're a straight natural, why should it matter? Lol all you need to do is make sure the hair doesn't break off. Do that with protein treatments.
That bob is all that 😍 Can we get an update on her low heat/heat damage free journey? I’m a curly natural and I want to start wearing my hair straight more often but I don’t want deal with heat damage either
Omg, Mamita! Where have you been? Soooo mad with you, been missing you and all your videos!! Your and your hands are so beautiful from the inside out. You are so blessed. Her hair looked amazing, light and fresh cut, and she's beautiful. Thank you so much for this vid, please, please, please, keep posting videos. Begging you. I love watching your amazing work.
Fabulous cut! Nothing like a great hairstylist who has your best interest at heart to care enough to give you a cut you need in the way you want! Love 💗
I love the way you do hair ! You make sure that you explain why and how! You arent scissor happy and all of your clients hair is healthy and beautiful! Saw a comment that said you are the scissor queen lol yes you are thank you for your videos
Yyyyeeeesssss!! Thank you for the shout out that it's fine to have heat styled hair. Everyone is on a different journey. I have never had chemicals or relaxers. I am a heat trained natural. My curly hair is very hard to manage (for me) and I have a lot of breakage. I straighten my hair one pass every 2 or 3 weeks. And then i let it breathe. My mom used to braid my natural hair...that was down to the middle of my back. And then in 9th grade my mom took me to my first salon. And I've had every cut and style without chemicals EXCEPT a pixie. I love your work. You remind me of my hairstylist here in Jersey.
Whoa!!!! 😳😳😳 First of all her curl pattern is EVERYTHING. secondly that cut was amazing!!! You could tell she was really feeling her cut as well! Another great video!!
This might be a stupid question but if she wants to wear her hair straight most of the time anyway, why is she worried about cutting off the heat damage? Might as well just keep it.
gigglyfitzgirl My clients hair still reverts back to texture when it's shampooed. Hers however looked relaxed. Yes she wears it straight more than curly but that doesn't mean it had to be weak like that so we cut the stringy hair off. Not only to make it fuller but more healthy. She doesn't mind the heat and as long as she doesn't let the wrong people do it ever again, it will stay curly when she wets it and she now has the option to wear it either way.
Brittany Barr hello I am a natural hair stylist for over 20 years and with my natural clients I do a trim of the damaged hair with most and some just want all the damaged hair cut to be able to wear natural looks u can follow me at www.larenestudios.com
Woman...you gotta be one of the most gentle, smoothest stylist!! You could cut someone's hair while they sleep! They would wake up shocked but extremely pleased. I think that's why I could watch you cut all day!! BTW...you look amazing in the intro
I wish I could find a good stylist the last one I had moved out of state. The next two fried my hair with heat damage. The last one just kept cutting off the damage she was doing trying to cover up the heat damage. My hair grows so slow I was horrified and now I’m scared to trust any stylist.
If you dont get frequent trims the dead hair will continue to split.. in a bad case until the root. But not all hope is lost. You can start with conditioning treatments/olaplex and start by cutting a little bit. Also encouraging new hair growth. First identify your hair type.'
I love your vids since I’ve been on my natural hair journey as you can see has really inspired to stay on the fore front of men having naturally long silk pressed hair... Thank you for inspiring me🥰🥰🥰🥰
I'd love to get a trim from you only cause you exude such positivity and you'll know to cut off the required amount.. I'm tired of going for an inch off the ends and the stylist cutting off about 3 inches...
Thanks for showing the vid. I am armpit length long. I am natural. I do not use heat nor chemicals on my hair. After watching this video, I will NEVER use heat on my head. That was a LOT of hair cutting off to get rid of the heat damage hair. I love my curls. My hair is very long and I am keeping my hair long and continue to grow my hair longer.😍
Ohhhhh mmmyyyyy goddddd. I told myself i would never get on a plane in my life cause I'm terrified but girl to get you to lay them holy hands in my hair i think i just might. You are blessed. I've been binge watching your videos. You are awesome... hands down
