I have to say, there were so many moments in the melody, the grungy guitar distortion and the drums that reminded me of Built to Spill. Of course Danny and Doug Martsch have very different vocals and vocal ranges, but if Doug Martsch was singing vocals on this it easily would fit on any one of Built to Spills albums... This song is awesome and McFly knocked it out of the park with this one, hope they have more of this sound in store for us....

Has Steven heard how different to the original song this is? Look up The Snowman if you haven't. Mcfly are so good when they do covers. The heavy rock tone of this cover is reminiscent of when they covered Rhianna's Umbrella for Radio 1 Love Lounge, years ago. So glad your reactions mirror my own. This song is soooo f'ing good!
