@@analyticalplum Think about it, pen giving a simple "you are everything" reply could be the cause of that kiss. That's all he wants to hear anyways. Hero colin just wants to be needed. And if she can take care of herself he feels useless. So a simple "you are everything" is all he really wants in life. I think they are going that route. All the other hurdles will not really matter, the bounty on her head is the main problem. Hero colin activate. He will want to protect her from the queen. I have a feeling they will be bonnie and clyde-ing up the place this season.

I'm not sure if its specifically revenge Eloise is after, I think it's more so to protect her brother because the Ton is ruthless. But I am also worried about her

She is not using it as a weapon. She is protecting her brother. LW is not something to be taken lightly, especially concerning Colin, who honestly hates her guts for what happened with Marina, Eloise, and the also the bullying of Daphne during her season. I love Penelope, but Lady Wistledown is a bully, and at the end of the day, she *is* LW. This is not something you conceal from your loved ones... especially when it could cast him out of society if the truth came out.

I think that it is a very tricky situation. I understand why Eloise does some of the things she does even if it is REALLY frustrating 😂 It's hard because LW is such an influential and powerful figure in the Ton and despite some good it has done, it has done a lot more harm.

@@mauicm3447 She saved Daphne from marrying that creep, LW column publishing did that. She saved |Colin from Marina's lies. Eloise created a situation and then put Penelope in a peril to lose everything she built and work for, plus the people working for her, at risk because Eloise wanted to discover LW, knowing very well the Queen could punish everyone involved. Penelope is wrong about not telling Colin. But Eloise needs to check her self-entitled personality too. She's always self-righteous and treat everyone as less smart and frivolous.

@julaystc7166 Penelope puts herself in that position again and again when she keeps challenging the Queen as LW. She could have talked to Colin without outing everything with Marina to the whole world, just like Eloise is telling her now that she will talk to him and tell him the truth. With Daphne, she did... but she also bullied everyone. Again, I love Penelope, but the fact that LW voice over is another actor makes it easier to detach her from Penelope. LW is a sassy scandal page... she is the Regina George/ Perez Hilton of Bridgerton

@@mauicm3447 all very true. She wrote some harsh things about everyone even about Colin. Although look at the end result of it all. Daphne & Simon pretended to form attachment to prove LW wrong and in return, they actually fell in love, help Simon through his dreadful past and become a far better father than his own BS father was. Marina could have chosen any another but instead wanted to intentionally seduce Colin and force him to marry her. But it turns out, Colin truly believed he loved her and wanted to marry her. He believed she loved him the same way. She never did love him and probably never would have. Colin’s marriage to Marina would have forever changed him, possibly for the worst. Penelope wrote what she wrote about Marina because she loves Colin & the Bridgerton Family so much that she saved them while allowing her family go into social ruin for a long while. Eventually everyone moved on from it since PF/LW knows that is how gossip works and her father passing. Eloise was selfish in her actions in season 2. She went unchaperoned to see Theo and in those times, if she was caught alone with him, she would have been forced to marry him. Or Theo’s life would have been at major risk for reaching far beyond his station. Theo said it to Eloise of the risks if they were caught. He was right. And at the same time, her younger sisters would be forever ruined with no chances of marriage because Eloise got caught alone with a man in the lower class of society. ((Theo was a good person and he was correct in his words to Eloise.)) And don’t forget the Queen truly believing Eloise was LW. Yes, Penelope could have went to the Queen to tell her that she is LW but let’s be honest, the Queen would instantly think it is a joke, laugh and have her escorted about of the Palace or Penelope would be imprisoned along with her entire family as punishment for all she wrote or worse. Penelope could not allow it or risk Eloise and the B family to be imprisoned as well. So Penelope wrote the only thing she knew would convince the Queen that Eloise was not LW and saving Eloise’s young sisters from complete ruin for years to come. And everyone will forget all about Eloise’s scandal of going to Political radicals by the end of season 3 or the next season, just depends on the next scandalous events to go through to make everyone forget. PF/LW has wrote many things but in the long run, it turned out better than it would have been if she never wrote at all and the events never took place or did. If LW never existed, these events certainly would have happened. Daphne would have been married to that awful man that probably would have forced himself on her in the dark walk in Season 1. Simon never married or to have a family of his own. Colin stuck in a loveless, miserable marriage with Marina while forced to raise twins that are not his. Probably would have become a completely Rake, a drunk traveler all across the world, never to return home for the rest of his days. Eloise caught unchaperoned and alone with Theo, forced to marry while her younger sisters socially ruined and never to be married because of Eloise doing a scandalously patched up marriage. Anthony married to Edwina but eventually ends up cheating on Edwina with her own sister, Kate. Possibly having a bastard child to raise and their marriage to become loveless, miserable. In Queen Charlotte show, LW reporting about how the Royal line has no legitimate bloodline grandchildren but plenty of bastards to go around. It pushed Charlotte to have two of her sons married. The end result, one of them is now expecting a child, a legitimate heir of the royal family now. LW is certainly a great force of power, leading to better results all around in Society than if LW never existed. Apologies for the long comment.
