I was kind of over having SO many returning contestants when the cast was announced, but I'm absolutely loving this season so far. The Golden Beaver is the best "twist" gimmick of any franchise IMHO because it adds just enough drama without there being such drastic fuckery that could happen. Can't wait for the rest of the season!

With tomorrow’s episode being the ball and every single one of them have been in the bttm/low for a design challenge we truly don’t know who will be in the top or bottom which is exciting since we usually know will be in the top or bttm for a design challenge. The only person to win a design challenge is fierce with the ball on her season.
Also Cheryl, Lemon, and Kennedy are my picks for top 3! Such an unexpected yet fun group of gals; "Fierlicious" is back in full force ready to make great tv it seems.

I’m gonna be so honest I came into this season with low expectations but both episodes have been great. Great performances in challenges, pretty good runways, and most importantly what I’ve been craving that AS9 didn’t deliver was actual good tv/drama. I knew Alexis, Kennedy, and the queen of making good tv Fiercealicous entertained me. When Fierce called out that Alexis and Eureka are on their 4th time where La Kahena should be saved so she can have more exposure/getting rid of a strong competitor I didn’t disagree even tho saving Alexis is the fair choice since she was the best of the 3 in her group. Then Cheryl being in the top 3 twice already her best run yet and I’m so proud of her and lemon breaking the Canadian curse with a killer performance.
Just here to say, Lemon's entrance line from her season of Canada's Drag Race was, "pucker up, motherfuckers". I know because I have been saying it all the time. 😂

I am a Fiercalicious stan. My mum and I agree with her about eliminating the queens who have had more attempts at the show. If this is your 4th attempt, what are you going to do that is elevated and new to win this time? It becomes the same spiel and I want to see queens who don’t get the same amount of representation
I will say, for a nature runway category, there is a disconnect when the entire outfit is just made of plastic in the faximily of natural phenomenon. Everything being in poly-blends and pleathers and lamé covered in glued on plastic beads and sequins, just seems like such a weird juxtaposition. Idk, maybe its time to break out the linen, cotton, and burlap. I will say I did like Eureka's taking clear inspo from Melanie Martinez, which I also think is the correct direction to go for a nature runway. Not plastic tho....
