It’s been 12 for me. I remember being a freshman and listening to dance with the devil for the first time and I asked my homie if he knew more songs he said bro listen to the entire rev vol 1 album from start to finish you’ll forget all about dance with the devil
Seems to have an organic perspective on life too. I also have only started to listen but I've heard him talk about past love and how it opened his eyes to what's really important in life
When I first heard this song I was blown away that it was the Edwards Scissorhands song. Then Tech just tore that shit up haha. Easily one of my favorites.
I wonder if any one has realized that the background chimes are from the Edward Scissor Hands Theme. I couldn't believe it when I first realized it but it's true. I saw the movie well before I ever heard this song but it wasn't until I watched the movie again around the time that I was listening to a lot of technique that I noticed it.
This is the first time I heard this song, but Technique is my favorite artist, so I'm pretty happy to see my bars looking similar to his. *Pats self on back* "With ten words, I could render pretenders inert, dismember their inners and insert splinters. Invert the winter each December, cause embers to burn sinners into repenters and knock Earth's center into a blender. Nigga I disperse cataclysmic splendor tripping the sensors with fissures and tremors."
If you like this download the following... Jedi Mind Tricks, CunninLynguists, Binary Star, Outerspace, Masta Ace, Blue Scholars, The Saturday Nights, Mac Dre, Andre Nickatina, Obie Trice, Wyclef Jean, 40 Cal, Dj Quik. That oughta start you off.
I love when people think I’m a psychologically disturbed because that means I overloaded their neurological nerves 🤯 goddamn technique is a fucking beast
tech haters just pay your respects to one of the very few truest and illest rap artists nowadays! dont be stupid. he fuckin murders every track! its not fuckin supernatural to acknowledge that!
Do you know that the musical sample is from the theme song for the film "Edward Scissorhands"? I was stunned one day when I was 17; just happened to be watching that movie and then I recognized the audio and it hit me "That's where they got it?!?!?" Did you know that's where they got it from?

Its Like this... You were blessed at birth.. You A Queen by birthright because You are a Woman... So take those talents and gifts You Were equipped with and go in.. Those are Your weapons against these fuck niggas and fake bitches.. Only associate YourSelf with other Queens and Kings.. I know they hard to find cause We rare Mami, but We do exist
This is NOT a sample from Biggie Smalls hypnotized! Just cause you hear that beat chyme in near the end.. That's more like a reference.. "Moving tapes like Biggies ghost at Bad Boy studios" ( that's when you hear that second from hypnotized)
@yoyorastisland I clearly do, I gave a bar from a verse and then made a comment at the end. Dont even know why we are bickering to be honest we both agree he's good right??
@ILUM69 Look there has been socialism just not true socialism, in theory socialism would be one of the best systems of government allowing every last person in the country to live equally, but it never works out that way because governments are generally corrupt, so instead of everyone living equally the people higher up just live it up while the rest of the country is in poverty. So I agree and disagree, there is socialism, just no working socialism.
@SeveNzo0rr Lol seriously? Jay-z has nothing to do with this why would big zoo want people to praise Jayz o_O lol? Jayz got his name from Jehova (God) because he wanted to be the "God of rap" or the "Jehova of rap" if you will. If big zoo was actually talking about Jehova as in Jay z it just wouldn't fit in or make sense and you just wouldn't expect it... lol.It would be so random. :p
I know Jehovah may not be God but that's not a world renouned statement and if you put what this rapper has in context you will know that he doesn't mean Jehova as in Satan. You have a good argument that Jehova isn't God but you have to put the rappers lyrics in context lol. Most people will think that Jehovah (pronounced /dʒɨˈhoʊvə/) is an anglicized representation of Hebrew יְהֹוָה, a vocalization of the Tetragrammaton יהוה (YHWH), the proper name of the God of Israel in the Hebrew Bible.
@Boilsdown2noclass Wen I met him he was friendly. Maybe he was in a bad mood, maybe he was busy, maybe he was tired and wanted to take a break and have some time to chill? Get over it. You come on the dude's video to complain about how you hate him because the one time you met him, he didnt shake your hand? Way to let your one experience meeting someone shape the entire way you see them. If you met him while he'd lost his voice, would you hate him because he didnt speak to you?
Hiphop is like a lot of poetry some of the things being said contain a deeper meaning and takes some intelligence to understand. Even though the songs do contain violence these artist don't base careers off it. They are story tellers so to speak, and through their story they drop knowledge, they teach you a little about something from time to time. These songs aren't written please radio and television networks. They want listeners not fans. I'm not trying to make you like, just understand it.
Rap mostly consists of simple and frivolous topics (guns/sex/drugs/shoes/close/cars/ect.) mostly about material items. The instrumentals are well produced, making a song a lot more catchy. An artist by the name of Masta Killah (Wu Tang Clan) once said "The dumb are mostly intrigued by the drum." Which is extremely true, a lot of people listen to rap because hip hop uses deep rooted terminology and a wider vocabulary. So the ignorant listen to what they can understand.
@ozipk I'm not black, and Tech definitely isnt racist. He's done songs with Diabolic before, who's white. And not to mention in his songs he's said he isnt racist. So...maybe you should pay more attention to him. I hate racism, so I wouldnt listen to someone who was racist.
"The rap ice age is over" He's making a point that primitive rap music that is simply about flossing and whips and stuff isn't as strong as the deep shit they are spitting.....also in the literal sense, rocking ice won't stand up to the style that Tech is spitting
I switch thugs into soldiers, those that given up on on God to praise Jhova!!! Seriously that was hard to damn death! I keep it positive with ultimate DOMINANCE! That is exactly what Immortal Technique do everytime he get his lips to a mic!
Jehova means God okay, he's just saying Jehova instead of saying God because it would not sound as good or rhyme and he'd be repeating himself. I mean do you think it would sound as good if he just said: "Those that have given up on god to praise god."
Not going to make a witty comment about the dislikes, but this is real. 'My opinion is solid ground, but you're a common hater, Splitting and diving our numbers, like a denominator'
