Important news update on the channel and some action shots from Nayland over the past few weeks which i have not used.
I am not a qualified flying instructor nor do I ever claim to be a very good pilot. I fly for fun and basically record for my own interest and review but upload because a number of people suggested that I should. I do try to edit for enjoyment and story telling and this means that some content is not always included.

Take all the time you need Tim, we will still be here. YT isn't a job it's a pleasure thing for you, we are just privileged to share your flights. I can relate to the amount of work that they take. Look after yourself and your family needs.

Tim, a well earned break from your 'punishing' schedule of weekly episodes for us to enjoy and learn from. I'm sure we can all appreciate the physical, emotional and mental load of dealing with settling an estate, selling more than one property with all that that entails. Of course we will miss your offerings but we get the opportunity to do some revision with previous episodes! I trust all will go well with your moves etc. Looking forward to future episodes. WOW!!! That’s come as a bit of a shock! Feeling terribly sad that you won’t be here any longer on Fridays… you’ve become an institution! As well as being a similar age, our paths have been very similar since I started watching your videos some years ago. I’m currently dealing with my mum’s estate and know how time consuming it is. I started watching you because of the hard work and honesty you put into your videos which shine through on every one, and which was a great choice because I’ve looked forward to each Friday ever since. I enjoyed how you introduced your dad into the videos, and I still miss him appearing on the odd Friday. You will be sadly missed by many people, Tim, and I hope to meet up with you one day and thank you personally for the many hours of commitment and entertainment you’ve given me and so many others. Good luck with your future projects, and enjoy your time away from the incredible run of Friday deadlines you’ve maintained. I hope to see you back on here again one day 👌 👏👏👏👏

Real life comes first, thank you for all the videos thus far. There maybe some RU-vidrs who pile money into their videos to get them to near cinema quality, but none come close to encompassing the enjoyment of flying and sharing it with others like your channel does! I’ve always felt inspired by you & your videos Tim! So few people appreciate the time, effort & cost of producing aviation content for RU-vid but you have somehow managed the seemingly impossible which is to consistently produce high quality content every week. I know this is not a goodbye video and you'll be back but I was always amazed at how you managed to churn out quality videos every single week, on time and even through a pandemic. You are a credit to grass roots aviation and an inspiration. I like the idea that things are changing you'll have more time to do what you need and want to do and when you feel happy you can upload a video, on your terms and not to a strict schedule. Tim, you have become a great friend in such a short time and encouraged me to start doing similar by honouring me as my very first subscriber and if anyone asks me why I create for YT I reply "Tim made me do it" :-) Need to have a catch up soon, I'll pop in for a coffee. Thank you so much for this wonderful catalogue of amazing videos.

Well there goes my Friday RU-vid viewing down the plug hole 🙂 Tim, I fully understand the need for time out and with all that you have got on, the last thing you need is any pressure to make us the viewers content. Take your time and just enjoy your flying when you can and let the dust settle. If you do make it up to North Repps give me a call first, as it would be good to meet up and I will buy you a tea and cake. I wish you luck with all the stress and strain of house sales and buying, having done it more times than I would like (with the RAF), I know how it feels. Keep fit, take care and we will all hopefully see you again when you are ready.

Dear Tim, I am so very grateful for all the learning and enjoyment your videos have provided for me over the last few years and especially in lockdown. You richly deserve a break but I will miss Friday mornings' episode. I am based down here in Devon but, as my experience on the air grows, I hope to be able to travel further afield and make it to the East. It is strange to feel like I know someone I haven't met but but I wish you well with all the moving and hope you keep flying. Take care Tim and thank you again!

Tim, I have enjoyed flying alongside you for a while now and appreciate the effort that you have put into sharing your flying and those other things that crept into your flying life. I, like many others I suspect, feel privileged to have shared the time that you have spent flying with your family and friends, particularly with your dad and fully understand the upheaval that time and loss have made. What a completely sensible move, sorry about the pun…. Great video as always Tim, and for sure Angus and I will miss our Friday morning breakfast and flying as he calls it. Well, I guess YT decided to stop promoting your videos to me. I thought I hadn't see a Jodel video for ages, and I came and looked to see what happened. I see now! Glad to hear all is OK, just busy. I completely understand, editing is such a time vampire. And YT is relentless in its thirst for finished videos! 376 weeklies is incredible. Well done Tim.

Some 6 years or so that I follow your channel. 2,46 k it says, in numbers that is not very much, I know you were considering if it's all worth while. Well I can tell you it is. Quality is'nt equal quantity maybe that's the reason it takes some surching to find it. And I found a few and one of them is yours. I hope you soon get stabilised in your new situation and that you start making your wonderful video's again.

I think I've felt like this multiple times and it's hard work. It's partly why I've gone to vlogs every two weeks because it's just unfeasible especially when you have a full-time job. Sadly part of being successful on RU-vid means posting regularly and I don't mean becoming famous, but in my eyes sharing what we love with people. If you don't love it anymore, then what's the point? Sometimes there are more important things in life than RU-vid and this is one of them moments, but you'll be back because love is an addiction and this is true love, flying, aviating and sharing with the world!

Tim you have always been an inspiration to me, you got me started using the apeman camera and prompted me to start my own channel, now with 197 films uploaded and over 4,000 subscribers I am still chugging along. We have also just moved house second time in 2 years and it is completely exhausting, cannot find anything and constantly searching for tools !! I wish you and Mrs Palmer well and I look forward to meeting up one fine day. Chris.

Yup some how You tube just gets over whelming and you have other things to be getting on with. Like has Been said we will still be here if and when you decide to pop back up. If you decide you are over it totally no worries either a few RU-vidrs i watch have done the same thing. Yeah that is a steep Slope as indicated by the Sport Cruisers chugging up the hill after landing. Thanks for the ride Tim just chill be well and carry on Chap Toodle Pip and Tally Ho. ;0)

Yours has been a remarkable achievement Tim. What will be, after next weeks 'last for the time being' episode, a run of 377 weekly videos. Most other RU-vidrs take a break every so many months, so a break for you after nearly 7 years is well earned. Don't feel any 'guilt' for taking the very necessary time to do the important family house sales & moves. I'm sure nobody would begrudge you priortising that. Today's vlog was entertaining and I, along with your many other subscribers, will be eagerly awaiting your triumphant return. In the mean time, take care, keep well and enjoy the air beneath the tires whenever you can.

Tim, as you know I only started watching you three years ago, as a fledgling "Student Pilot" back then. During covid it was the likes of you,Terry, Giles and many more RU-vid Pilots,that helped keep me motivated. I spent my "Lockdowns" dreaming that one day I would be following in your footsteps across the English Channel, or stopping of at a little Grass Strip somewhere for a cup of tea and a friendly chat. Little did I know then, what I would come to achieve in such a short amount of time and I am truly indebted to you for that. Be sure to update us on FB, if you are planning on heading to a fly-in, as I'm sure many of us would love to "bump into you" from time to time. Safe flying Chris

Goint thru what you are doing is emotional, frustrating and time consuming, having done this twice myself. Look after yourself and family there is nothing more important.
