The thing that was great about this show: it made White America actually THINK about racial situations by presenting them in a humorous way. Very effective. I know that this skit has stayed with me, mentally, for 20+ years since I first saw it. Great way to get your point across.

Thing about it I went thru this very thing at a job long ago. They brought this young whiteboy in, I told the three brothers in our dept, be nice to him he's going to be the new supervisor. Six months later they called a meeting and told us... Chad has been promoted to the new supervisor for our dept. I laughed in the mtg and those mgrs got pissed 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The sad reality is that many employees only look productive when someone is watching them. I think it was Les Brown who said something like "some people work just hard enough not to get fired but not hard enough to go anywhere."
I loved the way that old black shows used to call out BS in the black community. Now all we get is a bunch of cosigning of foolishness, excuse making, and low expectations.

wolfengheist If Obama is the trouble then tea party members should'nt have caused the government shut down and not able to make effort on getting that immigration reform passed in house. Senate passed it but in house is in a standstill. Anyways why are we discussing this on a living color sketch anyways ? wolfengheist I don't know why you bring welfare checks in this since during the Bush,Clinton years there were the same welfare applicants as Obama did.
If after the equals sign= we see this funny monkey business, black or white, it's then not conspiracy, then it is what it is. Is that what satisfy our hearts and minds, if yes, where on the ape, monkey scale do we belong?
