One of the funny fucking things I've ever seen. As soon as he appeared on the tv. When I saw the original airing, I was in school the whole day on Monday just laughing to myself.
Yes we are part of the old train cuz yes we grew up watching soul train and I am 55 yrs.old proud to be a part of something that was so great in our days
Such a Great show Living Color & Soul Train...watching this I about nearly fell off my chair in laughter. Could you in this day an age of younger social kids watching in living color~ they would protest like SWJ's "Snowflakes...sad how funny as lost it's ways in these times..
@@dustyblue2ify Yep! I have to admit that I was laughing real hard at this sketch on "In Living Color" which was poking fun at the original Soul Train dancers.
What's interesting about that is they didn't have to leave we all loved them, it broke my heart when I heard Loui say that. I believe it was just simply a play on Don Cornelius, because he always acted so 'out of touch' but as the years past he really fell out of touch, and that's why he kept getting new hosts.
@@christinamitchell6796 cheryl was on for 14 years when she left in 1990. louis been on for 10 years... i think that's long enough. i mean tom left by 1988 because his career picked up.
I was dying when guy came across the floor with the casket dancing with it. I was laughing my ass off. In living colors was good back in the days when I was kid..
They also showed the Asian lady dancer( Cheryl Song ) as the 1st one to come down the "Old Train."😅. She also left Soul Train the same year Louie left Soul Train! I believe they both left in 1990.
@@dontelindsey5846 Yeah, that was a damn trip 😁!!!! LMFAO 😂!!!!! The Ollllllld Train!!!!! So funny 😂 LOL!!!! Take care of yourself and your family during this coronovirus pandemic 😷 ok.!!!! Much love from Bunn NC. 👋💖💖😀😀😀😀. And keep on laughing at this parody ok?!!!! Peace and Soulllll!!!! Ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!! I couldn't resist that one.
2019,I am 67 years old, our black culture was booming. The brothers are part of the foundation that put us here today. Even though they haven't gotten the props they deserve. Still laughing.
Saw this when it aired. And this is even funnier after watching the "I was a soul train dancer" videos on youtube. One of the Soul Train dancers said once he saw this skit he knew it was time to go LMAO
Laugh out loud funny. This slays in so many ways. The coffin in the line dance and the grim reaper on the dance floor at the end are too funny not to mention the "Don Corleone" reference.
Don Corleone....err, Cornelius is freckin hilarious. His mannerisms, his voice, everything just spot on funny and yet reminiscent of Corleone...Cornelius. Then when an elderly Asian lady comes out with a walker, I just about split my gut on the floor laughing. Everyone remembers her!!!
I Totally forgot this one lmaoo i was watching Big Lou speaking about it in his interview on the soul train channel, and I had to watch it again, the Wayans are stupid for this skit. LoL the casket tho lmaooooo
Man, In living color was off the chain funny back in the day! The material is still hilarious if not more now that I’m an adult watching. Comedy Geniuses 🙌🏾
I came here after hearing Louie "Ski" Carr talk about it on another YT video. OMG, I never laughed so hard in my life. I don't ever recall seeing this on the show itself.
oh man they rolled the casket down there over the top !!!make u think about getting old just cant move so fast anymore !!! youth what a gift from god we get make the most of it!!!
I am so glad this show was a part of my growing up years. This was an outrageously fun period in my life. I use to think, can they really do stuff like this on TV, and get away with it. "THEY DID"! 😂 😂 😂
Never saw this, make you wanna boogey while you woody. I cant stop laughing. Tears. That walker😭🤣🤣🤣 My sister told me about this, glad I found it. I cry laughing every time I watch it. She said Jane Pittman so matter of factly.
Somehow I missed this skit back in the day, thought I had seen them all. They were wrong for that, but SO funny!!! Methuselah, Ms. Jane Pittman. And that casket being rolled down the Soul Train line!!
This was the first time I saw this skit and I was a In Living Color fan, I stopped breathing when it was Methusula and Jane Pittman at the scramble board, I miss this show especially Men on whatever subject and Fire Marshall Bill, great comedy
