i have very small spacing. just lost my aligners over years of time. maybe like 8 years actually. i’m tireddddddd. just want to close my gap and get permanent retainers. i only need it for my top teeth and don’t have insurance! how much would it be for me? i’m only 4 miles away from you!
i have permanent retainers on my bottom teeth from this year and really wishing i could be done this process. the first time i got braces was 20 years ago when i was 7. i’d lose my retainers eventually and have to start over. really tired of this on and off process
One thing I can't find any information on: Is it possible to get pontic teeth with inbrace or other lingual braces? How do these treatments work with missing teeth?
@@anthonypietramala6606 2.0 is a big improvement! And if no extractions are necessary for the severe overbite, we may be able to use inbrace. If extractions are needed, traditional braces are the way to go
Hello, I have some crowding in my bottom [front] teeth, and it appears a bracket cannot be placed on one of the teeth. Does inbrace accommodate that by skipping that tooth early in the treatment, or would regular lingual braces have to be used?
Is it normal the last month of braces one the 2 front teeth become shorter than other? Does the X-ray of roots have to be straight at end of treatment?
I don't know the specifics of your case, but i would not think the front teeth should become uneven at the end. Maybe the wire is not fully engaged and thats why it moved the wrong way. Ideally roots should be somewhat paralell but not always. Xrays can also be misleading and your doctor should know what is within normal range and what is what we call distortion on the xray. Good luck!
@@drdougortho Thank you! I was told today the reason is the roots are not aligned. I could shave one to make even or get one bonded to make even and that roots are suppose to be aligned after treatment. After 2 years and suddenly they are uneven sounds suspicious and not truthful. Was very confused with fast talking.
@@paulawilson5926 I would always tell a patient if teeth would be uneven if I straightened the roots. This can occur if the teeth wore down while crooked, THEN when straightened, now look uneven. But I'd like my patients to know beforehand usually. But discuss it w/your doc.
@@drdougortho Thank you Dr. Doug! I have consultation with Orthodontist Monday to discuss. He wants to take them off I want straight aligned teeth that look better than before treatment! 😁
