Great video and with the use of pegler valves, manthorpe access panels and de walt tools, you're a man after my own heart 😂 Only comment is that I thought that a stop cock was a regs requirement as it has back flow prevention, which the ball valves do not. However, as the poster above said, you could install a double check valve before the ball valve to get around this.

Thank you haha! Yes you are right about the double check valve, we do have one though, I just didn’t make it very clear. The combi valve by the unvented cylinder has a non return in it, and that’s the next thing on the pipe run after the new stop cock i showed in the video. I should have made that clear on the video!

Stop cocks and gate valves are different internally, and gate valves usually have a red wheel type handle.

Stop cocks and gate valves are different bro. Same principle of a “gate” coming down to isolate but they work slighty different

♣️♣️ Press don't stress 💪💪💪 the only thing i would do differently is lever valve double check valve for backflow prevention then a drain valve

Thanks for watching! The combi valve by the unvented cylinder is the next thing on the pipe run, which has back flow prevention, so all covered on that front. Appreciate I didn’t make that very clear on the video!
