The Hedy pants is a DIBY Club re release. Its been out for years. Ive owned it for at least 3 years. And the first photo that you said was too tight, is actually the designer. She is also fairly short. I agree it does look tight though. I wonder if they have increased the size or something from its DIBY Club days or something to call it a release?
I always like Ellie and Mac and their new patterns are cute. They have frequent sales, so I wouldn't pay full price. I have made a few of her patterns and they are great quality. The set of tops from Patterns for pirates looks great too. Love these videos!
I love this series. I always find something new. I'm actually sewing up a McCall's pattern that I saw on your video about McCall's new releases. It was the vintage sheath dress. I had no idea itch to stitch kind of caters to smaller sizes. That's the kind of pattern designer I've been looking for. I'm heading over to the itch to stitch website to look at all of the patterns. OMG the Closet Core pajamas are AWESOME! The wide pinstripe fabric looked so chic. The cut of the top is architectural and polished, but it's freakin pajamas! If the top was tucked in, it would look like those boiler suits everyone released a couple years ago. I used to have some silk Rixo pajamas that I wore as going out clothes - what a decadent feeling! Thanks, Closet Core for motivating me to buy ANOTHER men's pajama pattern! I want this one in a way I haven't wanted a sewing pattern in a long time... I've always admired those traditional Hanbok dresses and jackets but never worn one because I felt like it would look costumey on me. So I appreciate how the reversible Hanbok skirt designer showed it paired with a sweater for a modernized look. It's hard to remember all the pattern names & companies, but I'm vibing with the whole billowy, romantic, bohemian blouse trend. Hope you have a happy new year!
I love the Aria. It’s probably not going to look that great on my figure but I love the way it looks like all those people. The Amalfi is beautiful. I think all of this is a little left over from the cottage core and is a little bit more accessible for every day where than some of the hard core cottage core was and I appreciate that. It’s a little more hippie dippy. Which is a cousin of cottage core, I guess.😊 Moon booties!! I am really trying to find a pair of slippers that are very cushy on the bottom, but will fit my oddly deformed feet. Every slipper basically hurts my feet. Well it’s not the slippers fault my feet are just wrong for walking on. 😂
Love Sinclair patterns because….they do petite! Saves many, many alterations. Fed up of size inclusivity forgetting petite! Just wish they had a few more options and I don’t know anyone else that does petite….anyone else know?
I have an unrelated question for you. I thrifted a gorgeous bolt of mustard coloured sweatshirt fabric for $10 Canadian. The trouble is, it has absolutely no stretch. Do you have any pattern suggestions or even clothing suggestions ( I already havea coat pattern in mind) that would work with it? By the way, you must have forgotten about it, but I linked you 3 bomber jacket patterns that fit your description a year or so ago on Instagram messages. You even responded to me.
