So I cant find anyone to do walnut blasting is chemicals just a good I was recommended to do a fuel induction service/ air induction where they run 2 cans of BG EGR through a vacuum line and install a catch can. Car hesitates and engine and cabin vibrates at idle. Already changed the motor mounts and spark plugs also have no CEL what do you recommend since I can't find no one to do blasting. Is a GDI engine in a 2010 Cadillac CTS 3.6 possibly EGR but no code any advice would be appreciated.
My only problem is if its not getting in the engine, but blasted out the back; still gonna have to go through the cat, and exhaust system, and it never is truly something solved. Just gets pushed down the line.
Fuel injector service connects a hose directly to fuel rail and is designed to clean spray pattern of injectors. An induction service starts at throttle plate and chemically cleans everything after it. .
@@DVTOM; It cleans valves but it does not clean injectors on this type of engine. Another chemical is needed ,poured in the tank to clean injectors inside them.
250$ for my induction service on my 2013 Hyundai. Came to this video to see if i need it . Looks like i should do it but should i? I cant eait for the answer so gunna get it done 😢
@@nyr1mess1 I have a GDI and never had any problems. I use premium gas (92 octane) that already clean the motor itself. My vehicle has close to 90k miles on it and always that I brought it to hyundai they never offered a fuel induction services
I just had my KIa Soul in for regular maint. at the dealership and they said I should plan on having the GDI fuel service done at my next maint. check which will be 30,000 Miles. They quoted me a cost of $240. This remark is made in April, 2020.
Don Neary I just got my GDI service yesterday. I was at the 30,000 mile service. Same price as your quote. Drove it on the highway and noticed a big difference. It was worth it!
@@gimlet41 Yes, but your price was in U.S. dollars, not Canadian pesos, that works out to about $225 Canadian dollars. I guess it is hard to compare prices if you don't know exactly the process each shop uses.
