I subscribed to your channel simply because it’s not enough content out there for the VK but hearing that you might LS swap it makes me sad cause there’s so many LS swaps it’s not entertaining to watch that type of content anymore in my opinion. May I ask why you considering LS swap over staying with the VK ? I’d love to see what a Fully built NA VK56VD can do or even a boosted one. I understand it’s a much bigger engine than the LS but Nissan used the VK in their race cars so I just wished more people would use them as swaps etc. so the aftermarket support for them can grow.
That's only if I blow it up with the nitrous. Hahaha 🤣 Hard to do anything more with it right now because tuning support is so low at the moment. But I'm working on it!
@@TheHoggman right now I have a Infiniti G35 coupe and I’m planning on either putting the VK56DE or the VD in it lol so I sure how Uprev still supports it.
@@AntoineJralmao I was thinking about doing the same thing with my g35 like 10 years ago got a m56 now and I wouldn’t recommend it as hogg said there almost 0 aftermarket support for the platform. That being said if you do what I never got to definitely send me a vid!
Good stuff aa always buddy. Glad to hear your back has healed. I know how much that can put you out of commission. Hope your M holds together so you don't feel compelled to LS swap it LOL. Really looking forward to your Z32 updates as I'm very near ready to go E85 on mine just trying to figure out if I can swing a turbo upgrade or not right now. Also, save that LS swap effort for the Z31! Its a lot easier now with the dirty dingo mounts and trans adapters that didn't exist back when you first started to go that direction.
Good stuff! Looking forward to the updates... especially on the Z32. I "recently" converted mine to E85 - still have some mechnical items to address (clutch, new rad, power steerign line, etc.). Will be heading to the dyno hopefully before too long. Keep it up!
@@TheHoggman I'm hoping to secure the funds to make an attempt real soon but I'm gonna do it on an engine from salvage then drop it in, what are some of the major obstacles u forsee??
@@TheHoggman there's a guy on youtube not sure of the name type in turbos Infiniti m56 you should find it, he put turbos at the rear by the exhaust, someone else on yt did a gtr engine swap with the M as well.
