I drive a 2006 Charger SRT8, ....but am considering selling it and buying an M56s. I just absolutely love the lines of the Infiniti, and the V8 power. What's more, I moved to Fresno/Clovis recently, and discovered it to be Dodge Charger/Tesla town. So many Chargers around here, it's impossible to feel special when driving down the street. Almost every light I stop at, there's another brand spankin new Charger somewhere in a lane around me. It's annoying as heck. It's as if the cat has been let out the bag here in just the last few years, because there's thousands of new 6.4 Chargers in this town, and no 6.1's. Where I moved from, there were very few 392 Chargers on the road, and I was about the only one driving fast. Here in Clovis Ca, I'm literally the slowest driver in town. Little old ladies drive by me in Honda Accords and give me the EYEBALL, like I'm driving too slow?! It's crazy. And the Tesla's, ....ugh. They could change the name of this town to "White Tesla Paradise." Soooo many white Teslas and Charger 392's, it's stupid. The M56 is so dang rare, it's really intriguing. Problem is, finding one?? I found one in California, in Silver, but I really wanted the Black. Just holding out for the right color, I guess?

I also own a M56S. I'm currently really trying to add the aroma unit to my car since I have the forrest air system but us markets didnt get the actual aroma stick cartridges with two different wood sense. Went to Infiniti yesterday the service manager never heard of it and the parts manager the Japanese part numbers didnt work. Would love for you to add it to yours & make a video

Sounds sick! Have you had any issues with the high flow cats throwing codes? I have a pesky P0420 and I’m curious if the full exhaust would fix that.

Can you do a video about the cold air intake you mentioned, and also the aftermarket oil cooler you mentioned? Is that extending the life of the oil between changes. I also have seen people talk about a catch can for oil blow by - have you done this? My understanding is the 5.6 consumes oil because of the direct injection and this is a solution some have suggested

Also I'm going to be mating the PPE headers to the already installed stillen cat-back, plus doing the x pipe. Would you suggest leaving the stillen or replacing that piping going all the way back? I don't know the exact diameter of the stillen is, Or if it'll even matter

You said you live in Arizona, with the headers how much hotter does the vehicle run and has it affected the performance of the vehicle?

Back with more questions. I lurk Nico forum on the reg, as well I should. I noticed you had talked about forced induction and mentioned a mid mount turbo setup. Would that be after the PPE headers near the collector? I don't see much room under the hood. I have thought a lot about how to boost the m56 but was also considering a pro charger, since there does seem to be some room in the front of the engine near the accessories. Have you considered that option by chance? Thoughts? The mid mount turbo might seem a bit more cost effective, as decent turbos are def gonna be less expensive then a procharger. Very curious about your thoughts

How difficult was it to change the headers , did u have to lift the engine transmission out? I have a passenger side exhaust manifold leak need to know if its possible to remove repair without engine removal

Do you you think PPE will have do an exhaust from the upper cat to the rear mufflers? I am looking to do my exhaust, but also make it reversible.

I have an M45s...I would like to know if the M56 engine would swap with an M45 or if it's possible....if so can you point me in the right direction...I'm also chasing that Factory Scat Pak torque and horsepower...Keep making videos like this you've really helped me out. Thanks

I live in Illinois so I need the m56x awd do these modifications fit the x version if so is there and chance the x model with bolt on and a tune to be making at least 375whp

I’m from NYC, I have an Infiniti m56S 2011 AWD, so far I’ve done only the exhaust except Y pipe, resonators different internals. My reason for texting you is, anything else I can do before my tune ? I’ve been looking into headers but can’t find any, I know I have to get a custom X pipe correct ? Also I’ve been told to do test pipes as well ? Basically would love your expert opinion about my car and what I can do.

🔥🔥🔥 I have a custom valved exhaust, getting the PPE Headers due to the my Upper Driver side cat throwing P0420 codes contantly... I heard that slight whine at the Cold star, I have the same whine on my 2012 M56 (155,000 Miles), is that a normal sound on Cold Start??

Banging it off the redline like that doesn't help, and it hurts your trans. Leave it in D for max speed or do some trans work to make that happen. I know how the trans feels on these, it's easy to do that - probably not intentional. Trans/valve work goes a long way!! Great car, thanks for the vid.

So right now you're at 490 crank with headers tune and exhaust?

I just got PPE's full M56 exhaust, but I noticed the headers have a different bolt pattern than the stock manifolds. Are there holes already drilled into the block so I can just move my studs?

I love these cars, bit I'm gonna get the q70 v8 instead.

About to purchase 2011 M56s has 120k miles on (owner says did oil change every 2500 miles). Worrying about VK56VD’s engine life after reading this from a RU-vidr owns M56s: They do have an oiling issue that the trucks do not have. It creates a lot of sludge. So if you hangs your oil, even 300 miles later it's going to be sludge. It's working but it's not circulating as well as it could and getting too hot up near the top of the cylinder heads. A private Nissan/Infiniti mechanic pointed this out and basically said that it's rare to see them run over 200K -> Any opinions/suggestions on this sir?

I would certainly not be venturing far to say that you're making 500 to 520 crank horsepower. 20% powertrain loss with with 420 wheel horsepower puts you right around 520 ish crank. With 15% powertrain loss that still puts you around 500. I cannot imagine this big car and automatic transmission is less than 15% drivetrain loss. Not to mention you spank the scat pack and six miles an hour is pretty substantial. So yeah I'm going to say 500 to 5:20 is pretty freaking reasonable. Btw I have the white sport m 56 as well with the PPE headers on the way

I see a whole bunch of heat shields that have been eliminated. Plenty of thermal engineering goes into where and how this is to be released (these shields are expensive). Especially around the fuel system and brakes. But the gaskets and wiring as well. Yikes!
