I plan on trying the exact same methods I used here on a corned beef brisket which I plan on turning into pastrami.

hello buddy... do you know if you can use multiple inkbird probes in the app? Does the app handle that? Thanks

The inkBird app definitely works with multiple inkbird probes of different model numbers.

I'm not sure though if it handles multiple probes that are of the same model number. I don't really have a way to test that.

So I'm reading here that it does go to 212F, so I'm not sure why yours is going to 203F. Perhaps there is a tweaking in settings that needs to happen. I saved this in Amazon card. That brisket looks great!!! 🍖

I sure wish I could find a way to make it go to 212°. After reading your comment I checked again and also within the settings and I just don't see a way to do that. Not sure if it is still on sale but I looked yesterday when I posted the video and there was a lightning deal going on for 50% off. Totally worth it at that price. Thank you so much!

@@TheFoodExperience So it looks like after you select your meat choice, then you press "custom cook" to choose your ambient then internal temps. I guess make sure it's in Fahrenheit and not Celsius. I guess I'll figure it out more once I get it. Their website has a 15% off coupon. I'll check to see if Amazon is cheaper than InkBird's website. Now I need a nap. Chat with you soon. So Andy, would you say the brisket style Tri-tip is better than, say, smoked to medium rare and then seared? Just curious. I’ve never even considered cooking a Tri-tip to 203F.

That's definitely a bummer. I've used this several times since the review and seems to still be working great. I just wish they had a high and low Ambient temperature alarm in their app.
