Innovations Showcase: Emerging Research | American Kidney Fund 

Chronic kidney disease affects 37 million people, and many people in kidney failure die while on dialysis or waiting for transplant. To improve these outcomes, researchers, scientists and medical professionals are collectively working to enhance the therapies and treatment options available for patients with kidney disease. Today’s showcase will feature panelists who will share their research on new innovations or emerging topics about important changes happening in kidney care, including the implantable kidney, xenotransplantation and transplant care for transgender patients.
