Carr looked great in the 2nd half. The Saints need to fix that O-line. The RAIDERS need to fix just about everything.

No quarterback can get in rhythm without pass protection. Carr is 2-0 and the Raiders are dealing with serious internal problems (Chandler Jones) and a horrible head coach. Jimmy G can't throw the long ball; therefor, opposing defenses are stacking the line and stopping the run. Mark Davis should not have fired Rich Bisaccia and Carr. They kept the team together.

I love that the saints r 2-0 Derek doesn't have to do everything unlike with the raiders cause his team has a defense now! What a change! I hope they beat those cheese heads and I hope that offense gets to be unstoppable

I'm still excited for my Saints. I think Carr was the best choice for this team. I've always liked Carr, and he reminds me more of a Farve or a Bradshaw type player - he may not be the best QB in the league, but if he's lacking anything talent-wise, he definitely makes up for it in guts, attitude and character. Now, if the Raiders can just get their shit together...I was never a huge Raiders fan, but I find I'm becoming more and more of one lately (probably because of this channel). I love the players and the amount of talent the Raiders have, and ever since they were in Oakland, the Raiders always had tough-ass players and tough-ass fans. With everything going on now, I love to see Jacobs, Adams, Crosby, etc. go out there and play with heart even though it seems everyone from the coaches to the entire front office and GM are working hard as hell to get them to fail. It's the underdog thing. I'd love to see them spoil the seasons of a lot of other teams.

Carr kind of said it himself, he no longer has to play perfect football for his team to win. I have watched every game this guy has played in the pro's and if he wasnt damn near perfect the raiders always lost. It will be fun to watch this year as he gets more comfortable with the saints, they sure up the oline some, and get kamara back. Carr is the man with the game on the line and having a good defense will have him playing less cautious unlike what he has always done with the raiders.

Saints will have to get way better at pass protection to go anywhere in the playoffs, especially at left tackle. As good as Tenn & Carolina's d lines played, it'll only get tougher against SF, Dallas, etc. Getting Kamara back should help some, since he's such a great option as a quick safety valve receiver, but even that won't work if the line keeps getting wrecked.

Raiders fan since 1965 & this is not the Raiders I knew. Mark didn’t learn anything from his father. Go DC4 and the Saints until we get a real coach. I think the major problem is the offensive line. I think the rest is basically logical. Quarterbacks don’t play well under duress. The routes were too long to develop. The underneath route we’re taking too long because the running back or tightend is chipping the line.

Derek needs to not be frustrated. When he’s frustrated, he’s make some bone headed throws like that int and the one last week when everything was working well. OL still needs to improve as well. We are fortunate to have a top 3 defense as of right now. Offense needs to start faster and be more consistent, once that happens, Super Bowl is coming to us!

I disagree Willie with the heat increasing on Carr. This is year one of Carr working with these receivers. It takes time for receivers and QBs to get in sync. Carr is pulling out the big plays when necessary to win these games. I think the offense will increase over the year, especially once the offensive line starts blocking for Carr and Backs. Without a running game in the first half of these games is having a huge impact.

I really dont understand this narrative that the Saints are struggling on the ground, if you exclude the 3 kneel downs, the Saints rushed 30 times for 138 yards which is 4.6 yards per carry. Two of those rushes were 2 yard TD runs. Taysom Hill helped bring that average up but it's not like he isn't included when you bring up the Saints run game.

If the new RT can step up and provide some blind side protection to Carr, then it may click..OL got to step up an pass b lock!

I'm in a unique situation... The Raiders and Saints have always been my 2 teams... I've always liked Carr & Drew... Gotta admit it tho... Yeah, I'm conflicted seeing Carr on the Saints BECAUSE of how it ended with the Raiders... that wasn't rt... That head Coach & that Defensive Coach weren't lookin put for the team last season & really didn't look out for the QB... That said... conflicting feelings aside, I'm still watching Carr on 1 of my teams... People say he's not top tier but I think he should be... He should had a great season last year & could have if it wasn't for that Defemsive coach... Only team in NFL HISTORY to lose that many games in 1 season, by point difference of 1 touchdown or less... Half of those lost games should have been wins, easily putting them in playoffs... Unfortunately, the last season happened the way it did for the Raiders and it looks like that Defensive Coach still hasn't learned from the lessons of his coaching mistakes last season... still hopeful tho... It’s actually both. Defense has no pass rush and secondary is week. Jimmy can’t take the top off the defense and everyone they play knows it. They just stack the box the whole game. Then theirs the head coach and defensive coordinator who consistently show they have no clue.
