Frog room tour of jungle jewel exotics! Dendrobates, Ranitomeya and many more! Jungle Jewel Links: Website: www.junglejewelexotics.com/ Facebook: junglejewele...
Poor dude, having to zoom on these tiny hidden frogs. Beautiful! As a child I was obsessed with bugs and other animals, and a lot of toys/books had poison dart frogs so they are nostalgic to me. Back then if I had learned I could keep one, would of went nuts! I'd have to think about it...
Great place you have there... had a Fish Store in FL for 15 years... Know the dedication it takes to maintain and develop those environments... Best success to you.
I speak from my own perspective on this, but they are running a business, I don't think their goal is wild conservation. That's just my eye on the situation though.
JPs VlogUK it's a bad thing if it has to do with life would be the same as making money on selling human beings and destroy their species which in some cases maybe needed for earth to be a better place ...
Wow, I am in love with the frogs, but the architectures of the terrariums are really well done... Very naturalistic and the plants are all very healthy! Can you recommend a source of good variety of plants like that and how to keep them lush green?
Nice store for frog's. The tanks are clean the hole place looks clean. The owners look friendly and clean 😁. I give this place a grade A for looking perfect. I would recommend it to anyone that wants frogs or what ever else is sold there. Thumbs up.
Could you give a break down of the different tank setups I liked the look of the tanks that seemed to be all gravel with pools in the front corners please
That’s insane!! Never seen a frog room before but this is awesome man! Makes me want some frogs but don’t know how my wife would do with them being in the house aha! Do they do a lot of croaking?
Hey Mike, can you do a video on the custom tops and vents that Jungle Jewel uses. Do they use window screen frames? How many inches do they use for the vents? Do they do anything else to fly proof their exos?
So obviously he builds the backgrounds using foam but how do they get the amazing moss growth? Hygrolon? Epiweb? And know the names of the species of moss by chance? Thanks mike!
Good video of that :) and they are nice looking animals, but may I ask you something Mike? Do you know they just keep for a while and turn them back lose where they originally from or there been treated for fungus before if they ever do be able to go back to there homes. Just curious so again good video. :)👍
Mike Tytula really why, is there natural habitat homes getting destroyed.?? And what is the main reason why having frogs in tanks? Not trying to sound wude or starting drama, im just curious,;) And a anther thing where is this place located, as in what state.? Thanks:)
mike ive done a load of research on veiled chameleons i got a zoo med cage what do you advise i put in there for it to climb on cause i read that you cant just like go into your garden and get sticks so what can i put in like ive bought some flxible vines but thats it so far
Is standing water safe or does it need to be drained and replaced? Ive been following the drainage/mesh/soil/spaghnum/leaves method for every enclosure but i see that all of fhe frog habitats are holding plenty of water
What is the plant on the ground at 6:09? Does it have to be constantly wet like that, or could it live in a normal ABG mix type terrarium with misters?
@@MikeTytula thanks for the reply! That's what I had narrowed it down to. Would love that in my P. terribilis tank but not sure if it would live on regular ABG mix
I noticed that most of these vivarium have a small corner for water to pool. Is this just stagnant water or is there some sort of filtration going on? Does it not bad? I'd really appreciate it if You could let me know
There is a certain level of mechanical and biological filtration because they have Hydroballs and rocks. But there is no real active filtration going on like what you would see in a fish tank.
Hey Mike I’m looking into keeping Darts and I hear conflicting info. regarding tank size. Did you say the tanks in the video are 18 x 18 x 18? Is that tall enough and large enough for multiple frogs long term?
These are breeder setups, not necessarily what I would recommend to people who are looking to setup a beautiful tank for their frogs. I would save 18 cube is okay for a pair but wouldn't go too much more than that.
