In this Exciting vlog i am on a cruise ship through the bahamas and play some wild hands with rich whales who are just there to have fun. Come see how we fair in this high varience game!
Those cruise ship chips look like they came from a home poker set! With the player mentality on the cruise you described, I would've raised higher. Most seemed to overvalue their hands and get it all in so why not try and get max value. nice win though.
I just happened to find your Vlog last night. Apparently I’m gonna have to get on one of these cruises. So far so good so I decided to subscribe. I liked your gameplay and your analysis along the way. Pretty spot on. But yeah, live poker is alive and well! Also, your graphics are better than most of the OG poker vloggers. Nice touch. Looking forward to going through all your videos and looking forward to new ones coming out soon. Keep up the great work, we really appreciate it.
I’m vacationing in Trinidad 🇹🇹 right now. I’m thinking that if land casinos in Toronto are terrible, maybe Poker cruises 🚢 might be good. I tend to get motion sickness but it’s something to think about. How was the food? Jeff Boski sometimes has video footage and ratings of food 🥘 🍱 🍲
Good video, hoss! I played 4 nights on a week-long cruise last September and made about a $1,000. But my tables had a couple of serious players, though they had their weak spots, too.
@@MacksBet28 I believe it was comparable to yours. My wife planned the cruise, but we also went to CoCo-Cay and then St. Maartens and another island. We're going to do it again this September.
First hand, 77. Hate those hands. It’s the type of hand that makes you double think the fold. But from a strict pot odds, fold was the play. Even taking into account implied odds should you hit the 2 outer, I still don’t think there was enough money behind (based on one of the opponents all in) for it to be a profitable call. Good content. Keep it up, dude.
@@MacksBet28 that’s what makes poker such a difficult endeavor. Memory needs to be long on opponent tendencies short on hand outcomes. What they had and how they played it is tendencies. “Oh man, I could’ve won that hand.” That’s outcomes and means nothing. Letting that into your thought process will bring emotion into it. Winning or losing a hand should make no difference as long your decisions were sound. There was nothing in that hand that should change knowing the outcome. The fold was sound. Like I said, that is why poker is tough. Some people just can’t do that. Actually most people can’t do that. That is the breeding ground of tilt. Shit, I even have problems with it and you are better poker player than I.
@@thatguy2408 well in the moment it's a little tilting but at this point in my career I know how to move on to the next hand. And if I find myself being too attached to a former hand I'll just leave the table momentarily or for the day! But definitely when I first started i would be wayyyy to results oriented
@@MacksBet28 I won't do the math, but if the opponent bets small, and another calls, and there's a lot in the pot with even more behind, it's usually worth it to call with only 2- 4 outs if you can make the nuts.
@@MacksBet28 yeah but vacation me didn’t want to leave so I immediately lost my money on the 2nd day so my dad bought me back in on the 3rd and I had to pay him back. Hence only walking away with $101 after 4 days 🤣🤣
In the QQ hand around 8:40, how did you come up with there being a 12% chance that the opponent has JJ for a set? I don't think your reasoning holds up there.
You wouldn’t want to play that game everyday, but variance will make to possible to make some profit of a short period. But yeah, if you were trying to make money consistently in this game itd be pretty impossible.
Hey Mack... that's tight you got to play some poker on your cruise. What cruise line was that? I've been a few cruises and they only had 3-card poker which I hate with a passion 🤮
Heads up - my cruise on the Icon of the Seas had only table poker games (Ultimate HE) in the casino. I was with the #Shipit poker cruise tho, so had live ring games available. I also squared off with Eli Elezra tho...🥴😎👍
Yo! Did you get permission to film at mgm or just start doing it? I just started playing there and want to get into filming the sessions! Would love to chat see how you get it done!
