Great question! This particular supine quad stretch brings an extra level of intensity compared to the standard version. If you're new to it, take it slow and start with the milder variation to ease into the stretch.Let me know if this helps!

It's basically doing reclining hero's pose one leg at a time. It's a yoga pose called Supta Virasana (Reclining Hero) if you want to probe into it by name.
