INSERT TOP OR BOTTOM DENTURE 1ST? Does it really matter? 

My question is why do dentist fit you with the upper first when getting new dentures.

My dentures are quite loose. Still getting used to them (full set) but even the top denture doesn't stay "seated" if I drink anything. My dental tech said today "Gum shrinkage, and it's going to go on for at least another 12 months" and basically told me to live with it until 12 months has elapsed, then they'll be relined. The bottom dentures are actually dangerous if I'm trying to eat anything (even something as soft as ice cream) because my tongue movement can dislodge them easily. Am I right to be annoyed by his "treatment" of my new dentures and the issues? Apart from me getting used to them, which I clearly understood was a learning curve, not being able to consume any food whatsoever with them in, can't be right, can it? (and yes, I am also using a denture glue, and it only helps a little; once food gets under the side of the bottom dentures, any seal is broken and I've got a mouthful of teeth rattling around; not especially fun when in public). I note at the 1:00 minute mark, it's quite difficult to remove those bottom dentures on that lady; all I have to do is move my tongue and they'll pop out. Dental tech denies vehemently that they are ill fitting, by the way.

Are flexible dentures ment to bending..mine don't.solid .

its all about money with these guys...mine said dont come back until 6-7 months pass he wont see me...4000 must have went though ....i have bottoms that wont stay in ...i am looking to reline it my self
