A huge thank you to my loyal fan Licksnkicks for letting me know about this location.
I have passed this house so many times I can not count, and I guess I became so used to seeing cars there that I didn't give it another thought. Well, looks like I need to pay more attention to detail. This ranch style house now sits idle and screams “explore me”. The beauty of the property and surrounding green space is fantastic, I could just imagine sitting in the backyard of this house enjoying a beverage and soaking in all the greenery.
While exploring this house I couldn’t help but feel that those who previously lived here knew I would be by one day to document this structure, notes written around giving me insight to the future and past of their lives.
The house itself was much larger than it appears. So many rooms on a very long footprint. The basement was clearly a hang out for guests with the grand fireplace and the 70’s early 80’s bar.
The upstairs was a huge open space with ¾ walls not touching the ceiling and another grand fireplace. What all the police tape was about, I really don’t know, I could not find anything in previous news stories about a crime here.
This was a great explore and I am so happy I can share it with you.
Thank you for watching! Please support my channel by Sharing, Subscribing, Commenting, & Liking. You can also follow me on Twitter @DaaDeeOh and on Facebook at DaaDeeOh’s Urbex
If you have a location you would like me to explore on your behalf, please drop me a private message and I will make efforts to check it out.. I will give you full credit with thanks for the find in the video description.
Thank You Everyone as always!

My brother Frank Cremer lived in this house with a friend for a very short time in 2009 - He passed away in August of that year due to a motorcycle accident on Cape Brenton Island. It is eerie seeing his name - his writing indicating the date of his retirement written on some door of a cupboard in the garage -

+H.G. C. A friend of my brother rented that house and my brother moved in with then in 2009. He was there for a few months, had a wonderful veggie garden. He left for a trip to Cape Breton Island the last couple of weeks in July of 2009. He had a motorcycle accident on the island and as a result of that accident passed away. I have no idea what happened to the people who rented this home no do I know who owned it. He had just retired and had ridden his bike for many years as was living one of his dreams. Unfortunately after working hard for many years did not get a chance to enjoy his retirement. Love You Bro - RIP

Too much water damage in the basement, old electrical and probably infestation problems. It was a nice house in its day, but that day is long past gone. Better to tear it down, divide the property and bud multiple homes. Seeing that the battery clock in the garage was working, it couldn't have been empty too long.

About Frank Cremer: It says in his obit that at the time of his passing, he recently retired from Hogan Chevrolet Oldsmobile, and he was an avid gardener and motorcycle enthusiast. It mentioned that he belonged to a Harley Davidson motorcycle club. It also mentioned that he had a dog named Elmo. Apparently he died suddenly and unexpected at the age of 66. RIP Frank.

What an obsession with Harley Davidsons!! Logo stickers everywhere, magazines and that eery note behind the bar. Crime scene tape but at 11:19 you can see the entire roll of it on the shelf meaning that it was probably not a crime scene but someone using it to tape off the house.

Found that someone else has found MY house and did a video on it. Urban Exploration - Abandoned Ranch Style House Colin Explores. As I watched it, it just tore my heart out from all the damage and copper theives. I just about cried. Even tho I know that it's not MY house I still love it and have dreamed of placing mid-century modern furniture and building a pool and expanding to make another master bedroom etc. Oh well-I'll watch your video, that way I don't have to see the damage. I'm really surprised this house and property is abandoned, nice size, design, 2-car garage, circular driveway and good space of the property in the back.....if I had the property i would knock out the backside of one set of those large glass windows and put in french doors to a covered patio and enjoy that beautiful back yard.

I really enjoyed this video and truly appreciate the fact that you didn't talk through the video. This house has a lot of sad vibes left behind because it leaves hints of what the owner enjoyed in life. From your video the viewer can see that he was into radio because he had his radio room at the rear of his garage and he was into biking from the writing on the door of the radio desk. I live in a mid 50's brick ranch. Many of these have a fireplace both upstairs and in the basement. What's interesting is the garage is semi-attached, most are attached in these ranches. The clue to when the home was built is the wall material. In the 50's the wall would be made of plaster in the 70's , it would be made of drywall . Now I look forward to watching more of your intelligent videos.

Also it was sad to see the person work all their life retire and die a year later?? I'm imagining this house when it was new--which was around the same time that I was new! I imagine the living room walls were white and had pictures on them (modern art and some engravings, I think they're called, with white matting and with narrow black wooden frames or silver metal frames. I also picture one of those all-curved contour chairs with metal legs. There would be a big glass or ceramic ashtray on the coffee table. An earlier comment referred to "Mad Men" and this is just right for that era though the area around the front door reminded me of a set from the original "Star Trek"! I'm hoping good things are ahead for this house.

Really a nice to her the house. It really wouldn't take a whole lot to bring this house back to life, in a livable condition. Take down that one wall in the kitchen, would allow for a nice open modern kitchen. Bringing cabinets and appliances. Clean up the walls with some pain, check electrical and plumbing. And you're good to go. It's really hard to find bedrooms the size of the ones in this house. I hope someone saves the house before Vandals destroy it.

That is a gorgeous house, and if it were on the market in my area I’d be on it in a heartbeat. Huge yard. Two car garage. Three rooms on the main and the potential for another three in a plumbed, dry basement with a fireplace? I’d be more than happy to do the scrubbing, paint, and even drywall needed to bring it back up. The only minus is the road noise...and with basement bedrooms that would be tolerable.

It looks to me like this one could still be saved before nature takes it's course. What a beautiful area. Before I saw the bathroom upstairs I thought the pink toilet in the basement had actually been installed there. It looks like somebody had started remolding. I'm curious about the police tape and the square boxes with X's on the outside. I was thinking new windows in those spots until I saw the front. Interesting.

Farhan Shah Based on the obit, he has many family members. Someone must have succeeded this property. I wonder why they just let it abandoned and rotten like this.

+Devin The Boss So mystery is solved? The police tape was up because the home was searched during the money laundering thing? But originally , the retired guy that died, did he build the house? No wife or kids? Feels like a home that was built for a family.

Looks like a Mid-Century Modern with the roof angle and all the windows. Hard to believe it only had 3 bedrooms (not counting the basement). In its day it was a beautiful home.

Definitely a house built / added onto / remodeled to the owner's taste, without consideration for resale value. Don't see that much anymore.

actually looks the house was built to pretty mainstream styles in the 60s and got a fresh coat of paint and new carpet in the 80s. The houses "with high resale value" you are comparing it to will look just as funny in 20 years..

I have not seen an ironing board closet in donkey's years (ruffly 60 years) I believe 'I Love Lucy' had one on her show. They used to be common. A cedar lined closet. Someone loved the smell of cedar.

+LOVEIsDasani We had it in a bathroom when I was a kid in the 50's and 60's. Lot's of people did. So did others in our family. Pink and black and not plastic either but they were starting to make things out of plastic around then. The big fireplaces like these were popular then too.. I think the people who lived there were into Harleys and they entertained friends. The bar downstairs probably had a floor surface good for dancing. One of my uncles and aunt had a nice basement bar and a jukebox, a floor model type and a dance floor. He was into home brewing. During the 50's people had a little more money (of course generally speaking) and WW2 was over and over as well as the Korean. People wanted to relax. You know like the ad for Chevys on TV. See the USA in a Chevrolet and it showed people enjoying a good life. And in a nice 50 something brand new car cruising down a highway with nice scenery. Then Viet Nam started up. This place has drummed up a lot of memories for me. Thanks for the share. FYI I am the youngest of 5 and born in 1952.

I think you may be right about the crime scene tape being used for a training exercise. The police don't normally use the tape inside a residence.
