what a legend, bundesliga winner with dortmund and bremen,Champions League Winner with dortmund, World Cup Winner and Playing in Seri A Italy with Lazio.
@@rajnishsasmal lol what a dumb comment. He and millions of other great players back then were at a time when there was no social media. Anyone who watched him play during that period knew how good he was. We had a tonne of great players back then, unlike today where there is a serious lack of talent.
@@BOZ_11 it amazes me that a player some idiot does not remember or watched play immediately gets called uNdErRaTeD. The same bunch of idiots who called RvN, Vieri, Montella etc uNdErRaTeD
@@BOZ_11 WC winner, EURO runner up and CL winner (scored two goals in the final). There are players who achived less in their careers and get the legend title. Of course he's a legend.
Utterly insane the drastic collapse in standards of footballers we're witnessing None of the current Italian squad would get in their 90s editions bar 1 or 2 maybe
Italy is a mystery to me. Their league recovered, their teams compete on the highest level in Europe, even dominate the competition in terms of the amount of teams who advance deep into tournaments. Yet their national side was dreadful.
@@PeteMadden-rn4ps they're now 5h1te at football struggling to string together 3 passes they're that bad few, very few of today's players get in the excellent squads of 20 years ago. their basics are junk
@@jamesburke2094 Its the truth. Just compare the Dutch, Italian, Serbian, Irish, German, Argentinian, English, Norwegian, Brazilian squads from the 90s to 00s. There is a serious lack of quality in the national teams and domestic teams nowadays. Id argue only the German Spanish and French team that won the recent world cups were stacked.
The legends that played in the late 80s and early 90s up until mid 90s don't get mentioned enough. Normally, people remember those that emerged from the late 90s onwards.
Yes, Rio, it is genetics. I am German and Dutch and my wife who is Mexican recently caught a virus that laid her up for a few days. I didn't catch it from her. At one point I overheard her talking to her mom (in Spanish) and clearly her mom had asked whether I had caught the virus as well because my wife said "No. Es Aleman." :)
I was about to say legend. One can't say that about everybody though. He gets the legend status from me because he played for Lazio (my team), and he is one of few likeable Germans (from the national team). Probably most of all. That name! So legendary. In strong contest with LITTBARSKI
From watching this you might get the impression that Germany comfortably swept Scotland aside. It finished 2-0 but it gives the wrong impression, Scotland actually made a lot of chances and played very well, just lacking a bit of luck and clinical finishing. I bet Riedle doesn't remember that either.
Rio why can't you do this on your own channel. Don't wanna hear some dummy's opinion when you're talking to a legend. Just stick to you and the baller plz. So much better.
@@mdnght_crttr Yes I realise that now, but in my mind I was seeing Sammer playing in the Germany midfield especially in the final against the bearded Maradona and co.and how they cried after that late penalty from left back Bremmer.
