They can and should have an answer, Cavs play Kevin Love is a very basic math move, trade Love's three pointers for JV's dunks, 3 > 2, so JV as a big centre, "all you have to do" is bully Love down low, get him into foul trouble and that's over. But one JV is not that good, two, Dwayne Casey for some reason will panic if his team run the same play three times in a row, he can't do it, he is still that rigid a coach, just goes to a very different direction than two years ago.
4:09 when Kenny says "Do you want Hakeem to take that shot?" he's actually spot on, go watch Lebron's practice with Hakeem in his Heat days. He learned that shot from Hakeem. It's money all day. In fact he used a whole bunch of Hakeem's material this game. LeBron just knows when to bring out certain assets of his game.
Kenny's point is, decide what you want to take away. Let Lebron get his and shut off everyone elses opportunities or force anyone else but Lebron to step up and hit shots.

Look at it this way, if you were an NBA player and was traded to this team. And you had to face LeBron and the Cavs in the playoffs, and we're told to play a certain way, a way that has failed eight times in the past. Do you truly think you can beat them? Why would you double team a pass first player? You start double teaming then LeBron will just kick it out to the open shooter. Also LeBron is good at avoiding double teams where he can dribble away or out of them. Why does Kenny think all because you double LeBron that it solves everything.

Cavs finding their rhythm they haven’t been healthy and complete all year they had sooo many injuries and so many different lineups. Kenny is right tho...people may say that those are shots that you want LeBron to take, but he had the mindset at the start of the game that he was gonna go over certain shoulders depending on who's guarding him. So if you're giving LeBron the shots that he wants then it's not a bad shot for him.

SanAntoBalla, dude, y'all gotta stop acting like the Pacers should be easy for the cavs. They play a team style that involves pressuring Lebron, lets c what other teams play that style, 2011 Mavs, 2013-2014, spurs. Yea that style works against him because he literally has to carry or his team needs to hit shots. Pacers are a matchup nightmare and cavs just needed to squeak by, but yea I still think theyd lose to the warriors in 5-6 games

Selective double-teaming would help. LeBron likes to shoot on the left side of the court and drive on the right side of the court. Double team in the corners and on the right side after the first dribble. Shadow trap on the left side once the post-up is initiated (i.e. after 2nd backdown dribble).

Double team is not bad but it doesn't always work on anyone especially on lebron who has amazing court vision and a great passer.. And scary truth about this is he could still somehow find ways to score while making good passess as well..
