another spurs fan, these two are a few of my favorite competitors in the league today. I hope they make it out of the east. These two versus Jokic and Jamal would be the most fun final series in a long time
@@ziggymcdougal Dame and Giannis 🤯…Middleton as a 3rd option 😯…NBA is so great and happy it’s back peeps!! Everyone’s team!! Nothing but love, respect and good trash talking 🤣
Giannis gonna be like scottie pippen on crack playing with dame. He gonna have all that energy defending and rebounding since he doesn't have to try to score all the time
@@yungleek6295Brooke a bit old now. They need to manage his minutes and maybe get another defensive big to lighten his load during regular season. Unleash Brooke during the playoffs. Or they can put Giannis at the 5 and everyone else can play the perimeter. Bucks the leading contenders for sure but they need to pick up one or two roleplayers to secure the chip
@@amrelarcher8990 them picking up talent won’t be a problem. Who wouldn’t want to play with Dame Giannis and Middleton lol. Everyone in free agency is gonna want to go to Milwaukee
@@yungleek6295 cap space and fit is still a thing. I don’t think there’s many quality bigs that teams are willing to cut or trade because they need a way to slow down Jokic, Giannis and Embiid. The parity in the league right now is crazy and all the contenders are gonna go hard to sign bigs. There’s a reason the Lakers still sign C.Wood even with his reputation, Celtics getting injury prone Porzingis and Suns getting old Nurkic. The bigs are back in high demand right now.
@@amrelarcher8990 I agree. Teams need to give Dwight Howard a chance. He doesn’t need to be a starter and I’m sure he wouldn’t ask for a lot of money either. Him coming off the bench would be a great option in my opinion. It would be cool if Milwaukee picked him up
I’ve never met them but they come across so genuine on screen. Also we need more Chris Haynes, he’s so great at being familiar with whoever he interviews.
Glad to hear the respect for Clyde the Glide. He struggled to make his mark as a champion for a lot of the same reasons Dame has. And both were extremely loyal to the small market Blazers. Here's hoping for a bright future for Dame time, who alongside Drexler, is among the best to ever lace em up.
Honestly it’s so refreshing to see another superstar player next to Giannis playing and closing out in the 4th quarter instead of all eyes being on Giannis in the closing minutes
Did the "owners" do it?? Last I checked Dame wanted out..... I'm not throwing shade, I'm just saying "they" (owners") didn't just move him and boom. HE WAS THE CATALYST to this trade. Me personally, I'm tired of players whining. Dame knew they were gonna SUCK in Portland, but he signed the extension anyway! Cause he wanted the MONEY. Ok, you got da bag, now sit here w this 💩'y because the money was your #1 priority. Nothing wrong with that IMO. Just stick w your decisions. Don't secure da bag, then want out......
The thing about this duo is they are both MVP caliber players in their prime. Most big duos in the league are like two superstar level players, not MVP level. These guys have reached that level. It’s not just like MJ and Pippen, they are both MJ. It’s going to be insane.
Not sure if it is a wash as Chuck said, reasoning being Jrue Holiday's defense wasn't so good that it could shut down an entire team, but to Kenny's point you can't leave Dame open. It will be cool to see how it works out.
A TWO time MVP of the league telling you 'it's your team' And he wants you to feel comfortable/ succeful, now that's sacrifice🙏 I hope the Bucks win it all this year!
As a Blazers fan, portland resident and BIG dame fan i kind of wish dame moved earlier. He could be working on his second or potentially a third ring by now if he joined a contending team way earlier. I love my blazers and im hoping this rebuild will prove fruitful in the coming years but I also love dame and want as much success for him as possible and its clear that was never gonna happen with the blazers since like 2017
Giannis is so nice to dame ,he called dame an all time great when hes not but dame has been a star in the league for many years and maybe this year he can elevate to superstar player
Giannis needs to get better at the free throw line for Bucks to be able to go all the way. But it was crazy seeing Giannis being triple-teamed at times during the Philly game. That should open things up for Dame and vice versa. It's really too bad that Giannis can't shoot.
first time in their careers they'll be scrutinized and have to show up for every big game and wont be able to hide behind their lackluster teammates so its gonna be interesting to see if they can handle it (for the record i think they can handle it)
i agree with Shaq and Charles. The Bucks play this season if they want to succeed should be like Dwayne and Shaq; feed off of each other. Giannis doesn't need to score on every play and neither does Dame, they can always go back and forth. Plus the rest of the squad. I'm a Warriors fan but I also want the Bucks, most especially Dame, to succeed
The Bucks will miss Holidays defense, one of the better perimeter defenders in the NBA. However they needed that scoring punch and Lillard will solve that. The success lies with health for Middleton because he will take pressure from the two superstars.
Yep. You get it. Funny thing about Middleton is that while he has been very inconsistent in the regular season, he has cooked more often than not in the playoffs the past four years, whereas Jrue tended to fade offensively in the playoffs. Middleton was never the reason they fell short in the playoffs. The key is if Middleton is fully healthy in the playoffs (along with Giannis and Dame). If he is, I just don't see how you beat the Bucks in a best of 7 series. I mean, how do you? You commit the wall inside against Giannis, you cannot defend both Dame and Midd outside. Can't be done.
@@stephenweiss6001 I agree if they are healthy how do you stop those 3 offensively along with Lopez, Portis and Crowder. If Connaghton can hit a few shots they are scary. The only problem last year was health.
Giannis has the right MIND .... Let dame be dame and ride his desire to win a chip ...I mean imagine dame having a bad night then Giannas decides to morph into the MVP Giannas. They gone win it this year if they healthy
So teaming up is OK if it’s the organization that does it even though both of them have openly talked about pulling strings behind the scenes Lmao only certain guys get criticized for it
The wall is gone provided Giannis is smart enough to not challenge the wall and be unselfish enough to pass and take advantage of the shooters around him. Too much of the time, Giannis wants to take on 4 and 5 defenders rather than take advantage of other capable shooters that are open.
Am I the only one concerned Milwaukee made their bench worse? They are relying on one player. What if one of those two superstars get injured? The Celtics have a crap load of talent. They can afford a injury and still be good. If Milwaukee loses one of those guys. Ouch. They gave up their future pretty much. In it to win it I guess. Just hope they don’t get injured.
No respect. Took the easy route, if they don't win... it's nothing special. If they do, it's expected. Running from the grind. Everyone knows it's Giannis' team...
